Description
Late one night when Jun was out on his bike, he came across a drunk, half-naked girl sprawled on the side of the road. She came to be uncomfortably affectionate, but Jun took her to his home to sleep it off with gentlemanly discretion. It turns out that she is Kawase Narumi, his author mother's new assistant. Unfortunately, she has no idea what she's doing in her new job, so Jun's going to have to coach her. He's also going to have to deal with her habit of getting drunk, mostly naked, and cuddly. Jun's life will never be the same!

Is love on the horizon?

First, I agree with everything kidwith69 said in his review.

Second, as we have gotten to know the two main characters better in the story, it has become increasingly clear that they might actually become a couple! I think the dislike that exists in most places of older man / younger girl parings may not be as strong in the reverse situation. If so, we could see develop in this story some of the moderately transgressive kind of behavior that manga so frequently hints at in order to titillate the reader.

Many a real-world youth over the years has longed for the love of an older woman, and some have received it. So maybe in this story also?

It seemed promising...

It seemed promising at first, but after 20 chapters I find it dragging. It just doesn't seem to be going anywhere or have any real direction. Furthermore, I just find that none of its elements really stand out for me. The comedy isn't particularly hilarious. The ecchi is ok but they need to make it more interesting. I mean how many more times can we have drunk girl get naked? Slice of life element isn't really pronounced. The school life is there sure, but aside from being a student what else is there? I'm going to put it on hold and maybe come back in a year and see if this actually went anyplace or if its still stumbling around.

Update---
So came back after a year+ and finished it. It actually started to pick up. I don't know if having the pressure of maybe getting axed lit a fire under the author, but the story started to get funnier and better overall. I was actually starting to enjoy it as it seemed to get some direction...and then it got rushed and ended. It was never going to be a 10 but it was starting to improve and instead it got weird...
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The guy who was gay and liked boys ended up being maybe not so gay and knocking up Narumi's sister, who didn't mind?? Ehh, what?? Everybody ends up with somebody except the most important character? I think they would have been better off doing a time skip with Narumi and Jun ending up as a couple. They totally jettisoned their growing relationship.
I was disappointed, especially since it was getting better.

Overused theme

the premise is not bad and the art is actually quite good but unfortunately two things hold me back.
1 The protagonist looks too young in the face, even for his age
2 The typical, overused, and incredibly annoying protagonist that is completely gay. Nobody on this planet would refuse everything that is happening to him but of course he is. I am not sure why so many mangas do this but oh well

Deleted from my manga list

Well, as far as I can see, this one turned out to be quite promising one.. The characters are likeable & tolerable.. I don't think its quite generic compared to other generic & overrated mangas.. For me, I still need some "human-like" stories compared to everyday something extraordinary will happened kind of story..
EDITED (current opinion): NOPE!!! JUST NOPE!!! HUGE WASTE OF TIME!
Better back away from this series with an awful ending!

Poor

A generic ecchi with a generic overly responsible male character, generic cute loli having crush on him, her generic experienced-in-love friend, and a generic newcomer, the only difference being that she is an older lady and not a transfer student. Throw in a generic conveniently-absent father, a generic easygoing mother, throw some more cliches and poor storywri- ah, sorry, there isn't really any real plot.

If I were to rate this, it gets 1/10 for characters, NA/10 for plot and 7/10 for art style, my final rating being 1.1/10

At first I thought this might be a decent romance manga. In the beginning there were moments where you thought the 2 had some serious chemistry. However, any possible romance at all was moved to the back burner early on and 29 chapters later, all signs of romance have faded. The manga is boring, it seems to have no direction, I just can't see it going on much further like this.

*Edit* Added Recently - I gave up this manga a while back but when I heard the last chapter was out, I thought I would read it. The last chapter was dumb. This manga leads you into believing love is coming soon, but nothing ever happened at all. I'm tired of these male characters who are oblivious to everything. Such a good first few chapters, but nothing ever happened.

It's what Anedoki should have been

Depend on how well you can take this pairing. I on the other hand don't mind it at all, as long as they have the resolve to see it through. It's definitely a genre that has been rarely touched upon, cause the idea of a younger male being in a relationship with a woman their senior, nowadays is still foreign to most common people. The entire summary of the recent chapters is a question of "will they or won't they?" as these two odd pairings continue to understand each other.

One thing I liked about this manga, is the subverted maturity and gender-role between Jun and Narumi. Jun is 16 years old and is still experiencing puberty, he's is diligent, hardworking, understanding and compassionate with a few female traits such as being to perform several household needs(cooking, cleaning, scheduling etc) which is originally a stereotypical female role. Narumi on the other hand despite her attempts to look mature is incapable of performing any feminine role, in managing herself (much less others, a role which Jun is able to fill in) and has major shortcomings such as being a bottlefairy much to the chagrin of Jun.

Overall I look forward to what the future of the manga have for this pairing, they may end up with each other or they may end up with different people, at the end of the day it doesnt matter. It's all about the character development as how these two support each other, while letting the comedy ensues.

Bland at first glance, but it's actually filled with subtleties

At first glance this series looks like a typical "it's a joke" and later a "it's meant to be" series about the main character Jun and the namesake character of the series, the onee-san figure Narumi. One of the biggest draws of the series is that it toys around with the idea of love, it completely paves a path for this to become a full fledged romance between this "unlikely pair"; however we never really get the answer if they are going to "break the mold of common sense" (the age gap is over 10 years) or not.

At first the characters seem "to perfect to be true" (Jun) or "to sloppy to be true" (Narumi); but the more details are unveiled about the characters, the more believable they come to be and the more likeable they become to the reader. Do take notice that by "details unveiled" we have there are not extreme conspiracies or great secrets hidden within the manga, what we get it's that we learn more about the different characteristics that compose their characters.

All in all, the series has shards of a non serious school story (in series characters even joke with "how right" is a Narumi x Jun pairing), dots of serious romance, spoons of romantic comedy and seasoning of a slice of life story. The main characters show their personalities right off the bat and develop more pretty quickly even though they are in a non serious environment and the support cast is not only "just there", while they might not be omni present they do have a value as they provide strong points about what's going on and what could happen later and provide a reason for what's happening to our main character pair..

Of course, I'm quite interested on seeing if Jun and Narumi do become an item, and with that I'm also interested about how "how far" they can go and on "how serious" they can be to each other.
