I dive into this without knowing what it was, after a couple chapters the character designs of a couple a girls gave me the vibe of Nanatsu and to my surprise it was really from the same author!? Few authors rarely improve from a long manga to another but this one actually did it, you'll get it if you read various of his books.
Regarding this manga, it's good but I dropped it cause I don't really like over the top or unrealistic manga, unless it's a gag... But if you like that kind of manga you'll give this a 8-10! The art is really good as you would expect, there's so much detail and the characters are nice too.
Unfortunately the plot isn't nothing outstanding, if it was I could power through over what I didn't like. Nevertheless I enjoy it while I read it, cause I like delinquents, and like so many people mentioned, manliness plays a big part here. Rest assure this isn't misogynistic on any level, the females that fight are really badass, in fact one of them is like Meliodas xD, he was probably inspired from her.

I think my title says it all.
No draggy fights, no long useless speeches, no annoying protagonist.
I even like the dash of romance in it.
One word: Epic

Just exactly like the person below be said, this manga is what shounen mangas should be like. There are no bs chapters and it is straight forward. It may be cliche but just like zimzimbadabim said, "It has all of the good cliches with none of the bad ones". The manga is like bleach but with none of these outrageous power ups or wasted chapters with full of dialogue. The ending was good because there is no open ending bs.
The only negative thing is that this manga is nothing new but I still recommend you to read this. I give this a 8.5/10 because its another cliche shounen manga but don't forget that it is executed perfectly.

It has all if the good cliches with none of the bad ones, and unlike those manga that make you sick of hearing about the power of friendship, this makes me look forward to how teamwork and comraderie will win the day. Great diverse set of main characters that interact well with each other and a really cool cast of villains than seem to have unpredictable plans makes this manga one of my favorites.

Where's Iai Banchou? We all know he's coming back, but surely he should return before too much "power inflation" sets in? I mean, This ain't dragonball where Kuririn powers up 2 steps behind Goku... If they're fighting Hakai Banchou now, what can Iai Banchou do against the later even bigger heavy hitters?
Also, I don't see why Kongou Kai + Kongou Homura (who is probably not much weaker than Kai) + Gokurou (who even as an old man could cut off Hakai's arm with ease and dodge his blows easily until he got tired) all together could not PAWN something created from Kai's cells... did the Japanese government improve the cells that much ??? I would think that an imitation couldn't beat the original, much less original x3...
Oh, and I don't understand why burying Hakai stopped him, nor do I get why digging him up freed him. What, did merely being buried under SOIL stop the movement of someone so powerful? Even the Bride from Kill Bill dug herself out of a grave...

I fricken LOVE this series. It's so wicked, the art is powerful and the techniques are crazy. Later they even present banchou who are made by readers (just like choujin in Kinnikuman). In fact, KB reminds me lot of Kinnikuman and Hokuto no Ken, which is always a good thing. Nice, Suzuki-sensei!

There isn't exactly a focus on being realistic, but that doesn't detract from the manga at all.
The main character is both hilarious and awesome at the same time. The fights are simple, not too drawn out and make you feel pumped up. The enemies are kind of strange, but creative. The manga is not too innovative otherwise, but all in all if you like shounen action, you can't really go wrong here.

This is an excellent fighting manga. The main character, Kongou is a big guy with herculean strength. But even more, he is very kind to others, even his enemies and he can make them understand the error of their ways.
In the world of banchou, we can see ENORMOUS people. Many enemies are ridiculously big and tall, some even have a giant size. There is no magic, but there are many special abilities and they usually are exagerated stuff from legends and science.
The fights are not sophisticated like in Naruto but they are prideful and the outcome is never determined by small tricks.
Don't sweat the small stuff!

its weird. very predictable, everything you expect to happen, happens.
but he goes through enemies every few chapters so its kinda ok as it doesnt get TOO boring.
this summary at the top isnt very accurate, just give it a try

This manga is pretty binary. Kongou fights one Banchou after the other (and defeats them of course). Most of them are pretty cruel. Now, if this needless cruelty is in any connection with protecting a third party (like a little brother or so), then all ends well. They get back onto the right path. But if they do not have a dear third party, well, then they'll get utterly defeated.
