Inconsistent art. Inconsistent story.

This started off kind of cute, with the younger co-worker, Kiyotaka, clearly sporting a one-sided crush on his superior, Shizuna. She's completely unaware of this, which only makes it more interesting. Unfortunately, it starts going downhill once the two of them are snowed in - the sudden way in which Shizuna changed her mind about Kiyotaka totally blindsided me.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Basically, she's oblivious until he confesses out of the blue, and she turns him down saying she has no interest in him that way. Fair enough. But as the sexual tension between them grows and he pushes her harder, insisting that he knows she returns his feelings, she's suddenly all, "Yes, I love Kiyotaka!" I mean... what?! This all happens in the space of 10 minutes, after which we get some even more startling... full frontal scenes.

On top of that, the ending was pretty inconclusive. I'm really not sure whether the whole thing was supposed to make narrative sense.

As for the art - as the title says, it's inconsistent. The cover image up there is pretty nice, and it's the same for parts of this oneshot. Some panels are drawn quite nicely (mostly the Kiyotaka solo scenes) and others are completely off in proportions. There's one particular panel with Kiyotaka supposedly looking shocked; it looked more like his eyeballs were pasted on his forehead.

Unless you're desperate for a few pages about two coworkers having a ONS, I'd give this oneshot a pass.
