Description
Main storyline: There is a kingdom on a island somewhere in the four seas. All was well until one day it was attacked by an army of Demons via Sodomy - and of course the Prince of this kingdom was taken prisoner by the Devil King. With his last strength, the Prince casts a spell that takes this island to another realm, making it invisible - so that this "carnage" is maintained. Our main two characters are the Princes #1 bodyguard, and the bodyguard's protégé - so thus begins their quest to regain the kingdom, kill the demons, and save the Prince. But it won't be that easy, cause watch out...

I'm absolutely certain Ogasawara was on drugs when she created Nightmare Fortress. It's crazy, incoherent, funny, hilarious, bizarre and screwed up.
Nothing makes sense even if it has a strong implication it knows perfectly well what it's doing. As if there IS a method to its madness. But there isn't. Not that I could find any. It's simply mad.
I had fun reading it, anyway, because it's just so bizarre. Anyhow, whatever Ogasawara was on, I want it.

I completely disagree with the other reviewer who said that this is a "typical yaoi", because it's not. It IS typical of Ogasawara-sensei's work, however, so if you like the other stuff she does, then you may like this. It makes no sense at all (in English OR Japanese), and is just an excuse to show a lot of sex.
Very smutty with gorgeous art though the plot reads like something ripped out of a cheesy porn movie.

"The demons are gaining more and more energy through their mass orgies." just screams "lame" in so many ways.
And the smatterings of the fantasy + magic traits weren't interesting enough to save this story.
most of the time I don't know what was happening T__T or maybe it's only coz I started reading it at 3AM in the morning. Anyway, I'm always a slave for Ogasawara Uki's drawing style (not to mention her abnormally large rendition of a man's manhood *kills braincells*). I love men with muscles coz they both look more masculine. But as always, her characters are sex-starved bunnies.
