Description
Ikeda Masaki, called Ikeuchi by his friend, is a college student living alone with his little sister, Minami, who is in grade school, after their father suddenly left one day leaving only a note behind. After thinking about dropping out of university to work and support himself and his little sister, Ikeuchi was encouraged by his best friend, Kanda, who currently has a job after dropping out himself, to continue his studies, and if ever the need arises, Kanda would be there. Ikeuchi believes that even if misfortunes come, as long as he has friends and family, they will be happy.

and so flawed, but at least they get a not-totaly-unhappy-ending, so thats alright. some people forget how is it when you are a child. we were afraid and insecure because we depend on other people. but even adults still full of weakness.

i was expecting something big to happen based on the summary but..damn.The way the story is told is nice,keeps you wondering whats going to happen next or why is this person saying this.
woah i kind thought that was going to happen but it still really shocked me it went that far. I thought it would be a little more innocent. Still going to give it a try though -- interesting art style

Although the art is average, it helps the reader focus more on the morals of the story. Overall, the manga is very realistic and likes to question if the character's actions were righteous. This will definitely be on my reading list, since I want to find out what further happens with the protagonist. Poor guy...

This manga is about betrayal of trust and destroying the happiness of a girl and consequently the family. I know this is a manga, however if it is me, whom my baby 10 year old sister is violated by someone I trust, I would have reported statutory rape immediately to the police regardless if he's my "best" friend who is a full grown adult.
This "best" friend just keep on hurting her emotionally later on when commitment and responsibility is brought into the picture. Guess he's only interested in sex and beauty.
The genre "romance" kinda wrong here, the girl just fall prey to lack of attention/affection from her family( broken up family and brother very busy with part-time job and school ). It's just a crush and later on, she will realize how stupid she is to fall prey to a pedophile who provides the wrong form of affection.
Mentally, she got screwed as well at the wrong age. She interpreted wrongly the lust by this asshole as "romantic love". Took her another six years to wake up her idea.

I don't know why Author wants to show this girl pitiful, she's such a Disgusting sister who just thinks for hers good being. her brother just suffering and everyone are telling him he's selfish what is wrong is being right in this story. really she makes me sick. and such an a****** friend he has doing something like that to a 10 years old child and ran away. this story is a real bad one to read.

This manga handles a sensitive topic in such a realistic & amazing way. It does not try to convince the reader of anything; it just shows what happens, and the logical aftermath.
The use of dark panels, the powerful endings of chapters . . . The storytelling method is astonishing. This is a manga that will make you think, & think hard . . .
This title handles the one subject that Aki-Sora, another psychological series that I hold in high regard, did not . . .
A true gem in the manga world . . .

I agree with Molenir. It´s tough to swallow. and god how I wanted someone to call the cops on that guy. The girl deserves a smack too. Despite her speechs trying to come off as the correct course of action, they were all flawed.
I´m arguing with myself over whether the manga ka purposely made her give speechs that and actions that were so bad but spotlighted as if they´re right. I think to myself whether this was a way of showing how kids might reach a conclusion, and the simple act of reaching one, making them assume its the correct one.
I doubt it, yet in the end, it seems that all of her actions resulted in the collapse of everything. Honestly this manga shows how screwed up this is by putting the reader in the position of a second party to the events. As close to finding out anyone I know is doing such a thing as I would ever want to be.

But the one thing that really bothered me most was that the guy and girl were sometimes portrayed as knowing more, as in the best course of action. It´s a bit weird but this is countered by the fact that the end of the story seems to disprove them. Just be aware new readers, and hopefully it´ll help you reach the end

I'm a perv and how can i not enjoy a cute girl having mature relations?
But there's no way a 10 year old girl thinks mature enough to act and talk like our protagonist. Mangaka just put an adult character into a 10yo body for shock effect.
He could have done much more with the setting but he was either lazy or that's just the best he can do.

I hate this story, I hate the hero, heroine, and bad guys. It isn't just because the loli element is present. Loli handled appropriate doesn't usually leave me shaking with anger frustration and disgust as I am reading it. All the characters are insane, I expect a little lack of reality when reading manga but this is off the scale. They are all selfish one dimensional brats with whom I can in no way sympathize. The art is sketchy and rough but not terrible and the story could possible be good but the delivery is so terrible it just doesn't work. I feel dirty after reading this and if I was stupid enough to buy it I would burn incinerate it to work off my horror.
