Quote from AuraBlaze
Hey anyone recommend any good manhuas? Good story and good characters prefered(obviously).

Gonna check some of the recommended ones here.
Also check my list before suggesting any because that's just pointless if I've read it(you can pm me or post on the topic).

Hot Blooded Woman <- of course, first on the list
Goong
Cutie Boy
LEGEND OF NEREID
New Sexy Simpleton

from the best to the good. xDD

Don't make Goong an example!! bigrazz
Manhwa shoujo isn't really my style. The shounen ones are much better, take UnbalanceX2 for example biggrin

For myself I love manhwa! My favs are:
Bird Kiss, Bring It On, Cash Girl, Cinderella Fella,
Click, Comic, Cutie Boy, Five,
Full House, Gapz Garden, Goong, Hush,
I Wish, Ice Kiss, Imitation Love, Ingenuo,
Its Love , My Girl, Pretty, Really,
Red Lion, Sugar Addicition, The Bide of the Water God,
The One, They Too Love, Unbalance X Unbalance,
Vanilla Ice, Want You, We Are Still, Yaya, &
You're So Cool.

Ok I REALLY Love manhwa! ^___^
Though I only like manhwas that contain the genre of comedy, some romance, & shoujo/shounen. Some of the drama one's are just too sad...

I think I also have not had a good manwha experience cry
The ones I've purchased end up not being so great. Mostly its because I can't follow the story - its dis-jointed or I can't figure out what's going on, or its just bad.
This is probably due to picking the wrong ones.
I've tried Gadirok - introduced and then killed off a whole group of I think friends? in a chapter or two.
Threads of Time - I think I just picked the wrong genre on this one, my fault
Chronicles of the Cursed Sword - I don't remember why, but several volumes into it I had to stop and get rid of them
I have two volumes of Saver - but I'm still having a hard time following the story
There are some others, I just can't remember off the top of my head
BUT, I find it hard to understand and follow some manga as well, like Mouryou Kiden

I do like Queen's Knight! eyes
And I read 50 Rules for Teenagers from the library and I liked that, too
I'm probably just picking the wrong genre, and many look very tempting like 11th cat and Dokebi Bride. Yes, I think I've just read the wrong ones.

My recommendation for a shojo-type manwha is Queen's Knight. Unfortunately, it appears as though its not being scanlated. So I'm not really much help no

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that manwha/kdrama relationships tend to involve a lot more squabbling than manga/jdramas? I mean, I know bickering between a couple is sort of requisite, but it often seems to me that in manwha the couples just argue all the time... goong is definitely my favorite!!! (and the drama is so awesome, too).

I'm reading "Yaya" which is the first manhwa i've ever seen =P
I didn't like it very much at first, so i thought every manhwa was like that, but then i started to want to know how the story was going on and now i'm a manhwa-addicted ^^
Despite that, according to me the drawings are a lot less cute than jap's ones, even if the stories are more original smile

in manhwa i think it's good that there are not so many cliches, like the main character is sick and the other one goes to visit him/she etc. i am sick of those.
my fav. are: bird kiss, goong, peter panda - too bad it's licensed, you are so cool, hush, ice kiss, my girl, sugar addiction, vanilla ice

Whaaattt??!! No recommendations for The Kidnapping Case of Minja Jo's Boyfriend? It was a little forced, but I liked the role reversal and undying bitter rivalry between the lead and her arch-nemesis.

Bride of the Water God is the best story ever. Ever.
