There are 3 of us, all six years apart. I am the oldest. Maybe it's the age gap, but I find that I appreciate my siblings a lot more now that we are older or mature. All I remember when we were younger, was how often we fought. Now we are all very close.

The youngest, my brother, is entering high school this year and he called me to ask what sort of electives I took to give him ideas on what he should take. And my sister, the middle child (AKA the Princess of the family laugh ) would sometimes just call me to chat or to talk about work (where I also used to work part-time). Little things like that just makes me appreciate them and I'm glad I had siblings.

One thing that I always wished for was that I also had an older brother.

In my case no. I have one older brother. We get along well so long as he's not around. Imagine having the pointy haired boss from Dilbert as a brother, fat, lazy, self-important and clueless, then you have my brother. He's even growing a pair of horns. no

In my case, yes. I have a brother and a sister and am very close with both of them, but my brother and sister might answer differently since while they like me, they don't like each other very much. I've heard that if there are two children in the family, they'll often find a way to get along, but if there's more than that, it turns into a war with two of the kids turning on the third. I guess that's true enough in our case. (But I'm hoping when they get older, my brother and sister will learn to appreciate one another more. I'm the oldest, so I don't feel the sibling rivalry thing like they might.)

Still, even with their arguing, I think both my brother and my sister are glad to have siblings, as I am. If nothing else, I think that in the end, no one can understand you like your siblings can since they're the only ones who grew up in the same circumstances that you did.

Polite bump.

Meh, not really sure. I don't really have a good relationship with them. Though there are occasional good moments, and those are the kind I wish were always present. embarrassed I guess it is a good thing, kinda. Better than being a sole child, at least in my case. Since I need exposure to people! D:<

I'm the oldest of 4 kids, and the youngest is a baby, so I usually have to do most of the work in my house, and get yelled at. So, no not really. But sometimes, I start thinking of how it would be if something happened to one of them, those are times when I truly appreciate my siblings, and I know that I love them. I've always wanted an older brother though.

I voted Yes.
I don't have any siblings. When i was a child i felt like i was the ruler of my family smile wink grin. My parents gave me whatever i like since i was their only child.
But when i grow up, i was badly harrassed because i am the only child. Sb just freely mark me as "selfish brat", or whatever...

I think if i can choose, i prefer to have one sibling.

Yeah siblings are your friends (and sometimes enemies), and the older you get the better friends they can be with you. But of course there are bad sibling relationships too.

I have 4 siblings and I only like my younger sister.
I guess because only 2 years different and we have the same hobby. The other siblings are quite annoying especially my brother ><.But now I live in different country so I kinda miss them.Sometimes have a lot of siblings is a good thing for me especially when you are down.

YEEEES!

I have an older brother I totally love, he's fantastic and we're best friends - lol he's the total "protective oniisan" type. Sometimes that gets a bit uncomfortable esp. if I have a romantic interest and he's like, "I MUST MEET THIS PERSON WHO DARETH BEHOLD MY BABY SISTER. D:<" But mostly he's just adorable and he really does want the best for me so he tones down the aggressive rhetoric with the love interests that are actually decent people. (He's mostly right about this so I actually trust his judgment... He's proven he can be really good friends with an S.O. that can make me happy.) I've learned not to go to him for relationship advice though lol because he starts getting protective again. bigrazz Strangely though he feels totally comfortable asking me for relationship advice and I feel very happy being able to "give back" in this way.

Once when I was like 2 y.o. or something my bro actually got into a fist fight with another boy who tried to feed me this cookie that had fallen on the floor. Not kidding, this actually happened. Apparently he was all like, "You are trying to POISON my sister. With POISON COOKIES that have fallen on the ground and are POISONED WITH GERMS. I'm gonna kill you now, 'kay? *STRANGLE*" Looooooool. Definitely a protective oniisan right from the start... My Mom tells me she had to smack him around the head a few times to teach him not to resort to sister-inspired violence. O_O Can't ever imagine going that far for a younger sibling but hey I kind of sympathize with my bro's tender loving heart. Hahaha... Though maybe I should spare some sympathy for the poor cookie-guy that got beat... laugh

NO WAY!

They're horrible I tell you horrible! I have 3 of them and they're all under 5, and my mom is pregnant. They run around everywhere and I have to babysit them so I can't hang out with my friends. I never get to watch T.V. anymore either. They have to watch Dora the Explorer or The Backyardigans. And finally, my sister is evil. She is super mean to me and my brothers, and she's even made my mom cry multiple times

Before my younger brother, I was always lonely. When my brother was born, it was like something new. At times, though, it's like one wants to get rid of them XD You know, when they take your stuff without permission. lol I like having him as my brother, though, even though he has his moments of randomness and makes me angry.
