sasuke wanted quickest revenge in shortest time.hence he left konoha .end of story. betray konoha n friends yeah sure if your village n friends were somewhat cause of your familys death konoha superiors ordered itachi to kill the whole clan.i m sure all sasuke haters would forgive them.

sasuke is not gay he was pissed by naruto's tease of calling him sasuke chan (for being inferior than him ). naruto hates sasuke. naruto is a hypocrite(actor) .he wants sakura.he is jealous sasuke hence kakashi stated naruto wanted sasuke 's recognition above everyone else's.


every one loves simple honest perverted people cause they can relate them selves to such a protagonist.(naruto).but without sasuke i dont think i would watch naruto.
naruto was the one who had a stroke (at age 15!!!!!!) over his longing for sasuke.(man thats gay).
atleast he got to say good bye to his parents before they died.


but what if kabuto woke up the whole uchiha clan with impure world resurrection and made sasuke face them(new revelations(truth) may occur)

sasuke is doing what itachi did making the whole world hate him so that he may protect the ones he loves(sakura,kakashi,naruto) if not how come no ones died by his hands.self sacrifce the path his brother chose. but the battles are taking their tolls and he is breaking down. he wants to kill madara before he(sasuke) dies in the meanwhile he gains more power.sasuke wants to die by naruto's hand as he is tired of battles and the lonely life he has led.it was never his choice to live alone he just was afraid to lose loved ones and suffer more.

if that happens im going to be so annoyed....idk i thought of it more like naruto is going to beat him or sasuke is going to give up because during the battle they talk to teach other and sasuke comes back from the dark side lol...if i had it my way though id prefer naruto to ending up having to kill sasuke because he realizes (while they're talking) he cant save him, and then later to die by killing himself and madara (thats my ideal ending).......but to get to the topic of the thread i think they just hate because of the way he is, the personality the mangaka gave him and his actions like how he is a avenger and thats all he cares about

Sad as it is, Sasuke will not be alive by the end of this manga. so far, he hasn't killed anyone important to naruto..[if i can remember] but imagining he will survive or some other ending is quite impossible, considering the whole village is after him for his joining akatsuki. well, who knows. maybe the mangaka has some great twist at the end.
Back to the question, his character development isn't that great in terms of personality-wise, i mean he has the same mind-set and the whole dark look im-gonna-kill-the-world type of thing. doesn't change. but gets stronger like naruto. whenever we get to see him, it's always the same. a bit frustrating. when will this end? who knows;p

First people hated him because he was a definition of strong Emo against whom likeable protoganist can compete
Secondly people hated him because he callously abandoned his team and to just get a short-cut to power from the ultimate (at that time) bad guy against whom the protoganist risked his life
Thirdly, after betraying his team and village and joining with bad guy, he continued to be bad, got his own team and was willing to fight against and kill his friends for nothing (just because they were in his way).
Then, without any relenting, without any apologizes or turning to good side at least for a while, he simply because more bad and now hated his friends and his former village and was actively planning to kill and destroy them.

He didn't change he got worse. People might have liked him more if he were a good guy then finally got to kill his brother in revenge, found out the truth and turned on his friends/village. It would have been a shock, but understandable. But Sasuke just got worse, he already was willing to kill Naruto/Sakura but then he found out the truth and he was actively looking to kill them. Bad from Worse.

Put it this way, from the time he joins Orochimaru, Sasuke didn't have a light friendly moment with Naruto or anyone good. Just bad guys and he went from one bad extreme to another.

hey, maybe he has ulterior motives like his brother, in a good way. who knows, maybe he's after madara and the one responsible for sending his brother to destruction....which is the whole village...well there's always gotta be a character as equally strong as the main character, in an evil way.

because he's a whiny, bratty, emo, jerk. so what if he lost his family? lots of people in this manga have lost loved ones, and none of them went crazy. everyone hates him? well that's his own fault for turning evil, besides no one liked naruto and he actually tries his best to protect them. all of his problems and issues stem from himself and unless he geta reality check, doing a complete 180, things are just going to get worse for him. i do believe that i can say that folks are hating on him because all he does is whine and look for someone to pin all his troubles on so that he can kill them. if you ask me he should just off madra and save us all (living and manga) a lot of trouble.

for all you people who say that he hasn't harmed the village yet, are you forgeting that he killed danzo? i'll admit that i was okay with it since i didn't like him, but he was the temporary hokage. not to mention that ever since he's been talking about wiping out konoha. he even told them that he was going to do it. if that's not a betrayal then tell me, what is? you don't have to kill someone in order to stab them in the back. you just have to destroy their trust for a short while. tell me sasuke hasn't done that to everyone he's ever met. naruto doesn't count because he trusts everyone and is a total baka. neither does itatchi because he wanted to die by sasuke and technically betrayed him first.
