i think there needs to be an approval system before completely new tags are added. recently there've been many duplicate tags for ones that already exist.

Yokai (duplicate) -> Youkai
Demons -> Demon/s
Game -> Game/s
Magical Ability/ies -> Magic
Death Game -> Game of Death

Magic and Magic Ability/ies are not always the same. It could just be magic done by non humans, magic in nature or magic was only in the past, characters are magic (passive magic), maybe a character was cursed, or only a few users (where the MC is not a magic user)

I would think Magical Ability/ies would only be used where the main characters can use magic.

Having granularity for a broad topic such as magic is helpful, especially since many fantasy stories have some sort of magic in them.

Magical Ability/ies and Magic Powers are more similar, with the latter being more popular by far and should be merged perhaps?
Idiot Male/Female Lead + Stupid Male/Female Lead + Dumb Male/Female lead are also duplicates

Older Female to Younger Female

Those can be interpreted differently. The former could be a relationship. The latter could be transforming from one to the other

I made a complete tag for series that had been finished. It was approved and now has been removed. I spent alot of time added that to series that weren't completely scanslated so it would be easy to search for completed titles.

I do wish that this website was more user friendly and had better search criteria.

Is it not possible to add a yes no to the publishing status you can click if the publisher/ series is complete?

It just seems that this website is missing many features that would make navigation easier.

There are already options for that in the advanced search

Are collection of Stories and multiple stories the same?

There are many reincarnated tags, should the ones with like 4 uses just be put in reincarnation?

For example
Monster reincarnated as a human has 4 uses.
Reincarnated in a bl game has 4 uses, but could go under reincarnated in a game world.
Reincarnated as a different species has 2 uses, could also be merged with reincarnated as an animal, reincarnated as a monster/non-human, monster reincarnated as a human.

Similar in Lover tags.
Enemies becomes loves, rivals become lovers.

Possessive lover/s, clingy lover
Affectionate lover, Doting lover
Aggressive lover
Manipulative lover, abusive lover, controlling lover, cruel lover/s
Protective lover, over protective lover
Bossy lover
Star-crossed lovers, fated lovers

star-crossed lovers doesn't have the same meaning as fated lovers. star-crossed is more like classic romeo-juliet type shit where there are obstacles in their relationship preventing them from being together like a political feud.

Possessive and clingy are not quite the same. Clingy wants to spend a lot of time with you while possessive wants you to spend less time and energy on other people. Possessive also implies that they are a bit controlling.

As for enemies/rivals. A rival is someone you are competing with e.g. the other top student, or your colleague who wants the same promotion. Your enemy is simply someone with whom there is mutual dislike. They might have nothing to do with your everyday life but your rival occupies your thoughts much more.

"World Travel" and "Travelling Between Worlds" appear to be duplicates. "World travel" has more uses but if they are the same, I feel like "Travelling Between Worlds" is a better name.

Is there a dictionary of what the intended meanings of the tags is? I've never been able to find one.
