cool. I just installed it on my computer smile

I just kept the fancy windows headers and fancy taskbar; the rest of the stuff was nice-looking, but was just too much to look at. A warning: It gets rid of the uninstaller if you only uninstall some of the features! (or at least I couldn't find it) What a pin-headed bug. I had to system restore and reinstall it with only the features I wanted to get the uninstaller back.

On the plus side, the header-thingys and window start button take-up ever-so-slightly-less space then their XP incarnations! Maximize your usable space biggrin
Thanks sakimichi!

Edit: the new desktop

wow, this topic went quick!

anyway, for some reason i hate desktop icons, so i don't have any at all. And my toolbar is on the left side.

Oh, and my wallpaper is a pic of Dogs bullets and carnage that lilchoconut was nice enough to edit. I posted it in a thread about cool manga pics and she was nice enough to edit out the huge crease it had in the middle. Thanks again!

Wow, ares6 is a Neopets fan... I react that way because I am one too. xD But I'm not a big enough fan to let Neopets take over my desktop, even though I've found good stuff on it. It's good to know the source since I've been peeking in the thread and I wonder where people got their wallpapers for their desktops. smile

One thing I wanted while reinstalling is to not have IE7, but I forgot that it sneaks though the updates.
