This.

But the last time it didn't explode, it was 137.

Dunno. Never took the mensa test. Took a few online ones and they always lie to try to boost ones esteem so you'll buy their nonsense.

I'd do better on Math and logic (I do teach it...), and not as well on English, but I do read a ton (thanks Tolkien), so I wouldn't do horribly on that section.

I know right? I guess only official IQ tests count......I really hate those online ones....they make you feel good inside yet you know it is a lie

I'm not sure, but I can assure you that is greater than 100.
It may be by just a bit, but I'm proud of being at least that bit more smarter than people. XD

Some of you make me feel really stupid. laugh
I actually think I have the lowest IQ in my family. sad
And then there's my one cousin, who's like a flippin rocket scientist with an IQ of like 200 something. Totally gifted, but has no common sense.
Which seems to sometimes be the case with extremely gifted people. Extremely smart... but when it comes to common sense, dumb as a brick. laugh bigrazz

Please.... do not ask. I took one on Sparknotes.....two actually. Two years before my IQ was 130, yesterday, My IQ was 60........barely registered as mentally capable...... sad

Of course Sparknotes IQ is not accurate. If you really want to know. You have to take the Stanford-Binet test or such.

you could also contact the MENSA society.

From the poll I see it's completely wrong biggrin

That's cause people aren't answering truthfully.

It could also be due to biased tests that are offered online. Which tend to focus more on visual acuity rather than IQ.
If that's the case we would expect to see higher results on a manga forum, since reading manga should improve visual acuity.
The results do seam really biased however so it does look like people are lying a bit.

The sad part is that people are voting over 145. Last time I checked, that was genius level... And anyone who actually has an IQ that high, is either a scientist too busy making amazing breakthroughs to read manga... Or is in one of my history books (and dead.)

Yeah. 145ish is where someone can have genius level but retain other facets of thinking. The brain simply can't handle more than that in normal scenarios though. Once you get up to 180 or 200s, its normally only in one or two subjects (ala math/reading comprehension/memory) and ends up with the person being autistic or simply being retarded in everything else.

I took 2 IQ tests about a year ago and got one score of 138 and one score of 154.

Is there a site where you can take a (relatively) accurate IQ test for free that's for varying ages, (seeing as i'm only 14).
