I don't think I've ever cried JUST over music/lyrics.

There are definitely songs that make me cry because they have connections for me, though - I can't sing "You Are My Sunshine" anymore because I sang it to my foster son & I miss him so much...heck, I can barely think of the title without getting all teary eyed, never mind actually sing it! (T_T)

If I'm already in a melancholy mood, there are songs that are guaranteed to make me weepy, though. I have no idea what most of the lyrics mean, but Masaharu Fukuyama's "Tokyo" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yb9i191NJzk) definitely feeds my melancholy.

Even though I can't relate to the songs, i still cry. Like "Miserable at Best" by Mayday Parade made me cry so did "Deathbed" by Relient K

Umm... I'm not one person to easily cry... but yes... Music touches me amazingly deep... maybe other stuff and simply human emotions won't as much do it as Music does...

Some music that get me really really Senti...

A World Against Me - Spin Dizzy (From Kyodai Mahjongg)
Timeless - Miguel Samiez
Canon in D - Pachelbel
Going from Home - umm... this was by Chopin maybe

And some great ones I found in Strawberry Panic music by Hirano Yoshihisa
1> Koi no Joukei
2> Kibou, Soshite Tokimeki he (mushiness, softness)
3> Kanashiki Kako (unexpected loneliness)
4> Hiren (this has extreme sadness)
5> Unmei (this has extreme tragicness)
6> Hitori Setsunaku (Sad thoughts + loneliness)
7> Kokoro no Fuueki (companionship when needed)
Actually, these were the great ones but the whole Soundtrack is amazing...

And then the themes from the two movies of Ghost in the Shell... esp ending of first movie and opening of second movie... both gave a chill down my spine...

And finally, Rain by Glay -> Got me senti very easily
and Rain from the Bleach Beat Album 6 sung by Takayuki sugo (Zangetsu) gave me a very very lonely feeling...

The Lonely Shephard - Zamfir... appears in Kill Bill Volume One towards the end of the movie... it leaves a totally bizzare feeling...

Well... I guess I went beyond just the songs that had potential to make me cry... none and yet there are still many songs I can't recall now...

Edit: I completely forgot to mention "Memories of Mother" - Jack Lenz that appears in the English Version of Card Captor Sakura...

Musicals and musical soundtracks always make me cry. Often, classical scores too, especially from ballets or movies, and classic jazz. I tend to avoid music that is too emotional or depressing when I seek out bands and artists, because I cry too much and get angsty afterwards.

The one when ents start marching was particularly beautiful.
Didn't make me sob and roll on the floor though. laugh

I don't remember ever crying over music...feeling melancholy at the most.

When I was a kid... this was the song that did it for me.
Last Kiss

No I've never cried over music, no matter how beautiful it is. The most that's happened to me is I've gotten goose bumps.

Crying is a little too overly dramatic for me

Hmm, Brokeback Mountain theme - The Wings. But that was mainly because of the movie. I still feel very sad whenever I hear that song.
