As a kid? Shadow Gate (nes) the game over sequence with the grim reaper and music, my bro used to intentionally kill himself on it just to torment me. And I know this is rather pathetic on my part but the early metroid games (flying membranes with pincers ugh). But most stupid of all "Mario's Missing" don't ask why. Resident evil and Silent hill I found more confusing than anything (how was I suppose to know the password was ALERT, I feel sad for remembering that).

Resident Evil 4 (PS) - I had no idea how to make ammo and was just running aimlessly around getting spooked by random zombies.

Clue (PC) - One of those cereal box games. When you chose who killed with what in what room it would show you a video of the killing, except the camera would look right at the supposed killer no on else. He/she would stab or whatever the victim and then lightning would flash outside a window. Man I was so young and played it in the dark. Ran upstairs to my bedroom and did something else to get my mind off it. Funny things is my Dad came in a little while later and said "You won." laugh

The first time I saw the flood zombies in Halo. Scared the crap outta me. It was in the middle of the night too.

Also, Half Life 2. One word: Ravenholm. I hated that level. Severe lack of ammo and about 2 hp the entire way through... *shudder*

The saw blades were fun though...

Hhmm...well, oddly enough, Ocarina of Time probably hit me the hardest. I had rented it from Hollywood Video, and was playing the game already on it. I walked out of the temple of time as adult Link, without a single clue as to what was going on, when a re-dead jumped me and started screaming and sucking out my poor little hearts. Took me so long to muster up the courage to play that game again XD

Then there was my dad's Resident Evil (not sure which one) game for the PS. I think his Tomb Raider game freaked me out too, cuz I was running around, got stuck in a pit that appeared out of nowhere and some bear ate me...and of course, Diablo 2, during any boss battle. But that might be cuz I just used to get anxiety from boss battles in general...

weird. I loved video games so much, and yet I had so many problems with playing them XDD

yeah Ravenholm was really scary, tho I found the original half life scarier for some reason.
