I'm not overprotecting, but if it's necessary I'll stand for someone i care, even if we are at disadvantage... but I'm not looking for troubles myself just to protect someone

If someone is in real danger (could get seriously hurt) I will protect them no matter what (unless I seriously hate them), but that's not really overprotective. smile

I'm the one who likes to stay out of other people business, but when I find someone in trouble and they can't defend for them self I always end up standing up for them. Sometimes people need help that they can't give themselves.

I can be very overprotective, especially towards my girlfriend im surprised i havent driven her insane lol. all i really get to do is tell her to be careful though due to it being long distance but still id probably be bad if we lived closer lol. and to my family i can be a lil protective especially if my younger siblings were being picked on. i remember getting ready to kick a kids ass for making fun of my brother, until i saw that he had it under control bigrazz

i guess it comes with being paranoid, but then again just because im paranoid doesnt mean they're not out to get me

I guess you could say that I'm protective, if i don't do the right thing concerning this kinda stuff, I'll feel guilty for...days. At the same time, when I want to protect someone I'm too slow to speak up or react ^^;

I'm protective of my family and friends. It may sound horrible, but everyone else can fend for themselves. I don't have the energy, nor care enough, to help those that can't stand up for themselves anymore.

I'm only overprotective when it concerns my family and friends, since they are the dearest to me. ^^

People tend to get very overprotective about me. I really don't know why confused

But I'm only overprotective about my brother, my things and my puppy. Everything else comes second.

But I am protective about myself and the other people I care about. That is only natural.

I don't think I'm OVERprotective, I try to keep it at an appropriate level. My boys are 13; they have quite a bit of freedom but I do make sure I know where they are & when they'll be home. When they were younger they were rarely out of my sight (though they didn't always realize it).

When it comes to little kids, I'm VERY watchful because they can be so darn fast!! If there are little kids around, I tend to keep an eye on them even if they're not my responsibility; they can be so fast and it only takes a few seconds for something really bad to happen.

I'm protective of my pets, because they're my responsibility & they can't really take care of themselves - just cats right now, who live 100% indoors because outside is just too dangerous (busy street). I'm hoping to have some chickens soon, but I need to build a safe home for them first. Other animals, I do try to help/protect as I can.

Otherwise, there really isn't any need to be protective - people can usually take care of themselves pretty well, right? eyes
