I generally keep my desktop very clean. I use it for everything though. I save just about everything to my desktop then do whatever needs to be done and then file it away accordingly. I guess you could say I use it as a desktop of sorts 
Doesn't really say much about me as is so I guess my start menu and stuff would say more about the stuff I use.

the final decision for me to buy a mac was that there are less or no games available for it. just to kick my addiction. better to prevent than to ... whatever.
