Yaoi and Shounen Ai
Those are the only three that I really cant stand as a whole

I usually don't care for the shojo romance genre. It's just a bit too dull for me. Of course there are exceptions.

I used to have a ton of genres I disliked, then I just exposed myself to more of them, found some unique parts of each and decided that genre didn't matter to me personally. I just care about quality.

Other than loli/shota , incest,and any tag with "rape" in it or alluded to:

Perverted Protagonist/Womanizer/Harem
Tsundere/Character who bullies the one they love/Love Triangle/Jealousy/Possessive Lover
School Life

I'm sick of most romance tropes and """"hilarious"""" perverts so I avoid them completely. School stories bore me because I get enough of that school drama irl.

I try to avoid
Horror (I've already got enough issues and things to be afraid of)
Tradgedy
Harem (Hey! Choose one person)
Mecha (I find it boring)
Seinen (They have alot of blood and gore, ugh)
Sci-fi
Sports (Don't get them)
Supernatural (The one's where its set in an ordinary world and the protaginist had an ordinary life)
Rape
Shoujo (The cheesy or stereotypical ones)
Gender Bender (What's with them?)
BTW I don't know what loli or shota is so that's why they're not on my list

I don't read:Yaoi/Yuri/Shounen-ai/Shoujo-ai/ Loli & Shota/ Hentai/ Horror / Gore / Mecha.

Try to avoid: Tragedy, Ecchi/ Smut, Harem.
But some ecchi or Harem have good plot though.

I am not very picky when it comes to genres, if it is a manga that gets me interested i will probably read it. The only genres i specifically dont read are yaoi and shounen ai.

I really hate teacher/student, (step)sibling and guardian/child romances. They just don't sit well with me on an ethical standpoint. These things happen in real life sometimes, but they are really over-romanticized in manga. Plus I think its gross to fetishize a profession or family member...just ugh, squicky.

Everything else is fair game though.

I will read pretty much anything as long as it has a good plot/recommendations.

But I usually tend to avoid:
Ecchi

Hentai

Lolicon - only one I have read is Miman Renai. Don't consider it to be loli though.

Shotacon - it's creepy. The boy should be older!! Not older than the female lead, but just older in general.

Yuri/Shoujo ai

Yaoi/Shonen ai - I have read a few because of people saying girls tend to like them. Not so in my case.

Sports - Just don't get it..

Ecchi - don't get me started, the fan-service is just HORRIBLE, takes away all the plot.

Hentai - never read it, never will, I remember seeing somewhere that boobs like that are life-threatening.

Yaoi - I love shounen ai but yaoi ruined me, nothing more to be said.

Smut - arg... anyone would say the same if you unknowingly dived into seas of shoujo smut mangas without knowing any better... and come out realizing you're starting to hate your same sex...

Shoujo Ai/Yuri - nothing against them, just that, they're boring.

Lolicon/Shotacon - don't get it, but then again, I've never seen it I believe.

Other than that, I've pretty loose on things. I don't often like Horror, Sports, Sci-fi, Mecha too. But there's exception to those.

I avoid manhwas, incest, harems, and many others too. Incest being cause, I don't support forcing a pair of girl and boy together just for the sake of getting them together. Romance isn't everything in the world. As for harem, it's kinda similar to ecchi, I just don't like it. It's for starters boring, forced, and well, stupid. Girls have more brains than that, and girls aren't magnets to every guy they meet. There's a lot of tags, more than I can list. I don't pay too much attention to them anyways.
