Doubly well-said. Each has their own 'upsides' and 'downsides' I think. Like how babies have their interesting/unique way of looking at things but are limited by their level of true understanding.

.... I just realized what a weird example I gave. I'm definitely not saying that I prefer male characters as babies. ahahahaa- I guess that was a bit extreme, but hopefully that made sense.

The fact that some of you don't care is also a valid answer I should add as an option in my future polls, thanks smile

A mod can add this option.

I prefer 20+

Like others have said, I can relate more to somebody who is older as I'm 24 myself. Though I don't mind if the main character is younger as long as they don't put too much emphasis on school. I'm honestly bored to death of school setting anime/manga.

Aye older than 18. I don't mind 16 and over either mind you, but basically the older the better. Although not too old, of course laugh
I agree with Hermy about going up to 25 eyes

The older the better.
I want to read a manga where the main charicter is 80 yo and has serious back problems.
That would be fully sweet.

I don't care about age that much, and if I want 18+ main characters it's more likely to find them in seinen instead. So as long as the main character has some good qualities it's ok for me.

Yup it depends on the story...

Although personally I'm pretty tired of the generic-teen leads in manga.
It would be cool to see one about an old guy, or a baby. A crime-fighting baby XD
