In the past when currency was less dominant, there was trade. Your favor comes in the form of your product. So if you produce food, that is your favor, and others will try to win your favor by doing work for you or trading for their favors. It is only when bartering and trading evolved that currency was born, but before that it was done through work. When you were taxed, you gave food not money.
Yeah i know that ( not to much but still remember my history lesson ), but money is still an evolved way of trade and i don't think that that "old trade" could still work now and even if we find something better, i hardy think that " something " wont be based on trade.
What i wanted to say is how could we be abble to maintain our society wihout money. For me it's impossible, that's why i say it's a necessity.
And well everything had it's advantage and it's default.
