As for something that made me smile today.. I visited my old job today to pick up my last paycheck. I bought some ramen and udon to eat at home with the boyfriend. We stayed in and watched Steins;Gate. It's my second time watching that anime, I still love it!

Got a new pair of jeans from Pacsun.

Deadpool´s highly impressive box office opening. R-rated comic adaptations are nothing new and we also got a few such superheroes flicks as Blade or Watchmen but such an over-performance and the positive critical reception will now open the floodgates and will also allow for higher budgets. Comic book accurate X-Force sequel (the X-men death squad) here i come . The same goes for R-rated action films, fuck "hard" PG-13.

A silly internet age typing mistake: I was supposed to make some papers in order to send a shipment to a local World Trade Center (yes, the NY one isn't the only one in the world). Naturally, the name is shortened to WTC as the address field includes a bunch of stuff and everyone knows what WTC stands for in this context.

Now imagine my surprise when the first version came out reading WTF instead.

Batman v Superman just got a confirmed R-rating for the Director´s Cut thanks to Deadpool. Thank you dear adult comic film fans and Hail Snydra!
The Killing Joke animated film is probably also getting an R and the released art look beyond good. The only missing piece is such a director´s cut for Suicide Squad and i will end up with 3 unadulterated Gotham universe films in the same year. What a great time to be alive.

Did a (famous) teamwork exercise in my i-o psychology class. We were told to build the tallest free-standing structure using sticks of uncooked spaghetti and tape, and we had to place a marshmallow on top. Whoever's group had the marshmallow at the highest point won! My group didn't win lol...
