Since I started reading manga a long time ago, I've noticed that possessive or jelly types build a nice tension in stories for me. I am looking for a long time for both - shoujo and yaoi in which at least 1 of the main couple is crazy for the other while being at least a bit on the side of defending them from everyone else or harshly making the partner understand who they "belong" to. The problem with my research is that those types in most of the manga I read came together with hard abuse or nonconsensual stuff, which I am so tired of and spiteful towards...
So I ask you, fellow manga lovers! Could u please recommend some shoujo / yaoi at least slightly fitting those qualities so I can bury myself in them for next 30 years? 😁

I've never heard before of 'Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai', I already love the summary and as I started reading I can already tell it's going to be a very refreshing story to follow. Thank you! I totally agree with the recommendation for Black Bird also, I read it long, long time ago but it's one of those mangas you don't forget reading 😀
