this is a light shoujo-ai, if you want something strong then you should look for yuri.
shoujo ai is a light yuri, so when you have a light shoujo ai, it becomes known to us as a simple affection between female characters.

Maybe the fact that all characters are female is crucial? If someone decided to fall in love they would not have any choice
