By instrumental...any genre?

Cause I can pretty much think of the entire soundtracks for Guilty Gear, Emma, Eternal Sonata and Touhou, won't bother posting the titles >.>

Wow, your topic is so awesome, that I'm willing to post here in the Music forum for the first time ever since it was created. laugh

FateStay Night - Emiya Shirou's Theme
FateStay Night - Trapped Thoughts
Kara no Kyoukai Paradox Spiral - Track 5

Maybe I'll mention some more later.

Also, Kalafina's songs are so good, that they need to be mentioned! Even though vocals are included, they are performed so mystic-like that they step out of that boundary and become something more...!

Well, first I'll post only a list of games which have great bgm, as for specific favorite tracks, I'll do it later:

Sonic the Hedgehog I, II, III (Genesis game)
Streets of Rage I, II, III (can be found in Yuzo Koshiro's collections)
Revenge of Shinobi (also included in Yuzo Koshiro's collections)
Shadow of the Beast (both AMIGA and Genesis versions, by David Whittaker)
Golden Axe (the first game only)
Blazing Star (Neo Geo game)
Pulstar (Neo Geo game)
Tenchi Souzou (aka Terranigma - SNES game) - one of the most beautiful soundtracks ever, IMO...
Chrono Trigger (There is the 3 cds OSV, and also some arranged collections; also one of the best game soundtracks ever)
Super Metroid
Final Fantasy V (FIVE, not six, not seven, not any other, though some of the others are also good)

As for anime soundtracks...
Monster has some nice tracks, by Haishima Kuniaki
Hundred Stories (aka Requiem from the Darkness) also has some good Kuniaki bgm.

Hmm... I'll post more stuff later, I figure it's best to catalogue my entire collection. ^^'

EDIT: I'll post links to some of those soundtracks later on.

Code Geass - Stories
Code Geass R2 - Nunnally
Code Geass R2 - Continued Story

Hitomi is great.

Kara no Kyoukai - Oblivious by Kalafina

Ef - A Tale of Melodies - Ebullient Future

And it's Euphoric Field, not Night... /facepalm.

It is really called Euphoric night. Number 12 in the OST.

I will ''steal'' your idea and link all my songs to youtube too wink .

Now I will upload the last three to youtube myself wink .

Phew took some time. Especially the ones I uploaded myselff (LA and Euphoric night). I will upload the last one tomorrow.

It's is ok to recommend complete soundtracks but might get troublesome for us who haven't heard the soundtrack. Write your favorite songs from each soundtrack and it will be easier for us to search for them (on youtube) wink.

Oh and onother question. Can I use the songs you link and add them to my list here? Or do you want me to have a link to another place where I have my favorites listed to keep the individuality in this thread?

If you want I can also make an update on the first post and write something like:

Zidusts songs:

xxx
xxx

Dr.Love songs:

xxx
xxx

To keep it easier for those who read this topic to find all of our favorites if this becomes a large topic.

I especially like these two right now:

FateStay Night - Emiya Shirou's Theme
FateStay Night - Trapped Thoughts

How could i forget Fate/Stay Night when it is one of my top 5 animes ever? Archers unlimited blade works is epic and the part when Saber Disappear is just to sad cry.

No...
I played Fate/Stay Night and that song is annoying as hell...
They play it every second scene, so irritating

and this, the game pretty just switched between these two, so annoying...

I like, erm, at least one of the Star Wars games must have had the Imperial March
