It toned down with passing years.

Too much: Annoying and repulsive. I love cute things, but in moderation, especially when it comes to brands like Hello Kitty.

The merchandise is also expensive as hell. Slap on that Hello Kitty face, and someone would make like $20 more profit.

I saw a HK lead pencil last time for $10 dollars. C'mon, $10 dollars. I rather go with something in the dollar store that comes in a pack of 4. :3 (I'm a penny pincher.) Again, I'm not an anti-hello kitty person, it's just that the prices are outrageous.

lol, i still remember watching it on the educational channel when i was 5 XD one of the first cartoons i saw as a kid, and actually remembered.
