^^Don't get too excited Zelgoto. Too many people have claimed to be "working on a prototype" or that they have a "friend" who built some. Coincidentally, nothing has ever come from these claims. In short, there's no way Moseshatch can possibly create 125+ mph ATs... the technology just doesn't exist at this point. Basic reasoning would tell you that if a 5 pound motor can push a person 125+mph, most cars should easily break 400-500 mph.

True but can we at least have faith? I know 125 mph ATs might sound exaggerated but maybe he can actually able to create an official pair? We'll see in a month or so hopefully.

ive been thinking on how the braking could work,
to go you would lean forward and add pressure in the front with your front end of the foot
to stop lean back using the heel to add pressure
just something that crossed my mind and the wheels would have to be bigger and thicker that and ordinary roller blade wheel, but that can wait

the reason i said it could top 125 mph is because of the gear system me and Nials made, along with the fact we have 3 electric engines (electromagnets and magnets) inside the wheel with the wheels being 24 cm in circumferance. In theory it would hit 125 mph, were still building this one, but we've completed the motor and the gear system, all thats left is to rebuild my skates which are alchemy FTL.1's install the motors into the wheels, and rebuild the axels so their totally hollow, so we can put the wires through, and put it all togethersmile
it will take a month, but then were done, with 3 pairs of FTL.1 converted into AT's.

I can't wait to the progress that you guys have made and i can see riding AT's is becoming a very close possibility
Keep up the good work!

Wow I haven't checked this thread in a while, but it seems you guys are making great progress. Good work, keep it up! I'd love to help, but I am nowhere near qualified. laugh

Just wondering, are the prototypes able to withstand heavy abuse(jumping, grind and such)?

i dont think they are worrying about that they should just worry about bump and cracks in road i would buy the prototype just to go to school and stuff like that but im in Canada, but i would even pay for it, even tho it would be a prototype, im so exited, even if i would have to pay for them im sure i could afford them sooner or later

Well, unless you plan on using your ATs on the moon or in a space station, I have no doubt that your theory of 125 mph is wrong. If you think otherwise, tell us what brand and model "electric engines" you have that can fit in a skate and propel you faster than most electric motorcycles.

well the lotus electric car tops out at 198 miles an hour, and its just electromagnets and magnets, but the gear system that nials designed boosts the rpm so significantly that it possible to hit 7500 rpm (i tried it, and destroyed the wheels at 5300) so were trying to find a plastic with something else in it which'll make em tougher, if anyone has suggestions please post, or message me, and tbh i'll happily send off 10 AT's to everyone thats helped, because we've looked at everyones ideas, refined some and made new ones, everyones gonna have a part in these, btw, new breaking idea, how about we put a reverse motor in the back wheels? will slow you to a stop, and if your really stupid send you flying backwards, could be interestingsmile hahaha!

the prototypes were useless tbh, they couldnt withstand most 20 foot jumps. Were usin a titanuim alloy for most of the metal work now, and its working alot better.

Jay3205, their all custom built by me, in all honesty, their incredibly simple if you could imagine a ball bearing system, that goes round 30 times a second, its just a speed increase tbhsmile although its stuck to the wheel so it makes the wheel spin at that speedsmile

How you activate the motors? Is it pressure controlled?
