Simple electric alarm clock that beeps really obnoxiously until I hit the snooze button...music would never work for me, I'd sleep right through it.
The only things guaranteed to wake me up: alarm clock, telephone, smoke detector, doorbell, and child in distress.

I use the alarm on my phone. And I made sure that I picked the least annoying ringtone on it...

It's just a good ol' fashioned alarm clock. Why? 'Cos music is just wayyy too soft... I'm the kinda person who sleeps through the postman/someone banging/screaming at the door, I'm also someone who sleeps through 5 to 6 rounds of telephone ringing. It's said that... even if a typhoon or earthquake were to hit my place, I would sleep right through it.
I often actually set like 2 or more alarm clocks ringing 'cos meh... usually 1 ain't enough.

I used to have a "Morning CD"which I burned and filled with heavy metal.. Eventually I got used to it and didn't find it affective so I just wake up to the sound of the horrible music on the popular radio station lol

I use my cellphone and my alarm tone is Burn my Dread since it's loud enough to wake me.
