I'm another Jonathan. I mostly go by Jon.

Also how is Josip pronounced? Is it Jaw-sip?

Well, the "J" isn't spoken like "jay", it's more like the "j" in "Johann".. may Bach forgive me for misusing his first name bigrazz

The second common mistake is the "s". Most people pronounce it like a "z", while it's pronounce fast like the "s" in "stop", and it ain't no hammertime bigrazz

Our pronounciation is a bit weird to most of the foreigners, while in english the letters are pronounced like "es" for "s", and "zee" for "z", we pronounce the on their own, just one letter, like the "s" in stop, or the "z" in zebra.

And we don't even have letters that can't be pronounced on their own like "x" "y" and "w", but we have some extra letters for things like the "sh" in "shopping".

Thank god it's different in all languages, otherwise it'd be pretty boring, although learning hiragana, katakana and kanji was a pain in the ass.. I wished then the japanese had the latin alphabete too, but now that I can actually write something in kanji I'm quite happy it isn't the case bigrazz

Edit:

By the way, love the name "Lulu", thats actually the nickname of my best friend, though her actual name is "Louisa".

@azuka: okay. first you need to roll your r's. the a is pronounced the same as in "bath". gn is pretty close to english. the i is pronounced as english e as in "free", and the l sound is pretty close to english as well(well its hard to explain laugh ) the H and D is silent.
thats my quick intro to pronouncing Ragnhild laugh
but since your belgian, i don't know if you'll get it roll no

lol, I get it, I get it, only the rolling r is a bit of a problem xD

Or in chains. I also heard that there's some sort of terrorist group called Alice Nine, because they have nine members, who's names are Alice
