So to sum up this topic. Do it purposely and your a loser. Do it by accident because you speak both languages, or because you don't know the word in that language, your good.

Yea, that's pretty much it.

Change my mind. I've been using the words "yaoi", "seme" and "uke" at an alarmingly increasing rate lately shy What can I say? New friends are new 8D

I'm only using japanese words in my sentences when I'm posting on some M&A-related site.

well... sometimes when i'm taking notes, a certain phrase is shorter in japanese than in english... and I'm a really slow writer, so I take what I can get... for example, Xによってちがえ ます。(X ni yotte chigaemasu), meaning it is different depending upon X, where X is some condition, like height or color, etc.... that is somewhere in my physics notes...
But yeah, I always do a double take when I see that.

No, I don't use Japanese words in my everyday speech, and I don't do it online unless I'm refering to something.

I mix English and Greek though sometimes. I get the urge to mix it up when I'm talking to my dad laugh

I don't use japanese in sentences...unless we're going for sushi..

Also if I'm discussing a shonen-ai or yaoi manga with my friends, I'd say shonen-ai or yaoi instead of boys love or...(w/e english for yaoi is)...because it seems to sound less awkward+I don't think I'd like people to know we're discussing this right now (though I'd say it's obviously not so innocent by a bystander's pov anyways).

On the other hand I seem to mix French, English and Mandarin all together and speak it.

Japanese, Italian, Latin and German words have appeared in my vocabulary for a while now, especially when I start insulting people. Nothing like calling someone a pervert or loser in a language he doesn't know.

I do it on purpose, but only with my dog. It helps me practice. My sister and I used to speak some French to our dog (the one in our parents' house). laugh

When I get angry, I sometimes speak Tagalog and my bf gets confused.

If there isn't an equivalent word in English, then I will use Japanese, usually only on the internet.
It irritates me when people deliberately try to avoid Japanese words... It's manga, not comic books.

I speak a weird combination of English mixed with Dutch words at home, but I was raised that way and I know how to pronounce them properly bigrazz
