I read the book, and it was so historically inaccurate I couldn't be saddened by it at all. It actually made me angry. How can you be saddened by something that couldn't have ever possibly have happened....


Anyways, the end of Finding Neverland always chokes me up. That kid has got to be one of the best actors ever.

Eh, I'm not sure I can name every single movie...
A lot of films made me cry.

The ending of Gladiator makes me cry each time,
although I've watched it over a dozen times.

A recent one was "Hachiko: A Dog's Story".
I bowled through the last half hour just because the dog was sad.
Dogs make me care too much.

And... One of the sessions in "Departures" made me cry a little.
Although for the first 20 minutes I kept wondering where I've seen the wife, then realizing it was Yumi from Wasabi. XD...

Yeah, I'm not exactly hard to bring to tears...
A good story that ends with death = me crying.
Something about a dog = me crying.

I second Marley and Me. I tend to get teary in movies, but this one just made me cry. Just the thought of thinking my dog (who looks exactly like Marley) dying is harsh, since we haven't had the best expiriences with them. It's a miracle he even survived the first month when all of his brothers and sisters got ill and passed away.

You should not watch Korean dramas in which most of the lead have cancer & die.
People in those dramas surely cry a lot And there are many touching scenes
Can ur sensitive heart deal with that?

I was in class when we were studying the Holocaust and I knew how wrong it was historically. But the cute little children won my heart in the movie. I don't usually watch movies to be informed on true history anyway. Just the thought of, 'What if that happened' or just the thought of losing innocent children for something so stupid saddened me the most.

Haven't ever cried to a film, haven't cried fullstop in many years now. I get saddened, even depressed with some films though. Still, not many.

Toy Story 3

Had me bawling like a child.

1. Grave of the Fireflies
2. The Green Mile - the scared in the dark thing gets me every time

I'm sure there's more but I can't remember off the top of my head atm. However, there's this J-drama that had me tearing up at nearly every episode called "One Litre Of Tears" - I guess the title is pretty self explanatory... As for 5cm per Second, I found it had a melancholic tone to it but not so far as to induce me to tears.

"Up" made my cry several times throughout the movie, and at one point, bawling. Literally, I was just sobbing in my seat as if someone I knew died or something. Such a good movie~ I never cried so frequently during a movie. I left as a satisfied fan

"Toy Story 3" also made me cry...then there's "La vita è bella" (Life is Beautiful) that made me cry while we watched it in school...

I'm trying really hard to remember the other ones.....Oh yeah, "Meet the Robinsons" and "WALL-E".

I second the Movies "Hachiko: A Dog's Story" and "The Graves of the Fireflies (animated)" They both made me cried so much! In "Hachiko" even though it was an indirect story about the Akita dog, of Japan in the 1920s, the movie still made me cried (although I personally dislike most American remakes of Asian movies). Also, I cried in The Graves of the Fireflies, it was so sad to watch the two children!

I would also recommend both the movie and the drama "1 litre of tears." Although they had different female main and same plot, they were both still very moving. I will recommend anyone who is interested to watch the movie first. But be prepare with a tissue box next to you!

I have cried for a documentary...about a woman who has cancer and her two children she's going to leave behind. Sad thing is that the children already know that their mother's going to die and they are only 5 and 7 years old (her husband is also deceased..or living with some other woman)
okay I found one..toy story 3..not sure why though..I guess the maturation and the analytical meanings got to me//

Honestly, I haven't seen a film that's so sad that it brought me to tears (I did end up laughing so hard I cried when I first saw Jackass 2 though). Then again, I'm the kind of guy who doesn't even cry at his grandma's funeral, so maybe I'm just weird like that. I have to admit that I do kind of avoid watching depressing films if I can help it (though I have seen my fair share). Anyways, just for the hell of it I'll put in a list of some super depressing/sad/emotional movies I've seen (I'll probably repeat films people have already mentioned):

Most recently, I'd say Requiem for a Dream. The ending was just so depressing; it's the greatest anti-drug movie in existence haha.
