I totally agrea. I look forward to him walking down wearing the belt. I'm glad that they added this character to help with the progress! I'm just sad that I have caught up with the storyline and now must wait for new releases.

He need to act more like a champion. Shounen is about character development which is emphasize at the beginning of the series. But Ippo haven't mature that much, matches are still the same ( getting beat up to death then suddenly coming back in last minute) and his attitude is getting on my nerves (still a wuss).
Although latest chapter point out about the other side of Ippo "angry Ippo". Let's see how this goes and if still no progress Sendou or Miyata should be the main char instead -.-
