The manga artist duo Peach-Pit ended their Zombie-Loan manga in the March issue of Square Enix's G Fantasy magazine on February 18. The story revolves around three high school students — a girl who can see rings around the necks of those who are about to die, and two boys in her class who have defied death — who hunt zombies for the "Zombie Loan" office.

The 13th and final book volume of the manga will ship in Japan "in April or May." To mark the ending of the manga, the current G Fantasy issue bundled a memorial poster. Yen Press will publish the 11th volume of the manga in North America in June. The manga inspired a television anime series in 2007.

Looks kind of sudden. Was it a natural end, or were they axed?
