my parents!! definitely.
they are my inspiration nd i love them very very much, i really dont have a problem with our life right now, but i want to upgrade it. i actually have this theory about each passing generation, each generation just upgrades the latter, so the only place we're going is up. so maybe its an optimistic way, but who cares!! right now all i have to do is study harder and absorb all i can of my parents' traits! biggrin

I don't really have a role model, but I have a couple people that I do look up to, like my dad and my brother. I don't necessarily want to be like them but I admire them for who they are and what they have done.

I have a role model. Just one, because I tend to not want to rely on people and block out others advice unless I've known them for like forever.

My only role model will forever be my favorite teachers who've I've know for like ever and my awesome older brother. Otherwise, I probably won't listen to what you have to say and take it to heart.

She isn't really a role model, but I look up to her- Aung San Suu Kyi. She's a pasifist in Myanmar who, until a few months ago, was in-home-prisioned by the political group of the country.

I don't have a role model in life, because role models are supposed to be these perfect beings, and I know that being perfect is not humanly possible. I do respect some of the people around me - like my dad - very much, though, and see qualities in them that I would condone in myself.

Also, I look up to the characters in mangas/animes to a certain extent. Even though I know it's not real, standing up for what you believe in, holding on tight to your dreams, and working as hard as you have to to achieve what you want to - all admirable qualities. I just hope real life was as simple.

My favorite teacher in high school is my role model. She always will be, even if I can't see her that often. She's just so amazing to me... How I see it, I've never met a better person. ^^

Or should I say... I've never liked a human being as much as I do her. In my eyes, she's interesting in everything she does, and I enjoy talking to her about anything. Even though I get annoyed with every other person I know, I can spend hours with her and never want to leave. She's simply... perfect to me! And I know the saying 'nobody's perfect'... but that's what I think of her. =)

Wow! Reading all your responses, I think I learned a little bit ^^
Thank you all for taking the time to write a post, I appreciate it <3

As for me, there's stuff I can relate to: I as well have people in school I admire: There's a classmate in school that's energic and beautiful and full of life, another who knows incredible much, she's like a lexicon! I admire them both very much. I want to be similar to them because they are amazing. Amazing in their own way.

Then again, I also have fictional characters I admire - sort of. I doubt you can call it admiration, and I also doubt you can call them role models or something like that, but honestly, I don't really care. People who can honestly show what they feel. People who don't care about others making fun of them, just going their way straight. People who have dreams. I think they are great. But they aren't role models. They are too... fictional for that ^^

And then there's also another person I admire! It's my big sister. She's really amazing ^^ She makes all her faults seem like it's normal, and has so many strong points... She's been my role model from the start. She's just so amazing ^^

Hm.... ok, this was my personal mosaic of Role Model! Thanks for visiting this thread, I will stop by again and again to continue reading your posts~ (don't be afraid now)

I don't have one. I respect a few people, but that's about it.

wat? i've never had one!
why can't i have one??
There are some people I admire, but as a role model? it'll never happen to me. I have my own way.
Somehow i feel jealous with those pure heart kids who can easily find perfect figures they want to be, to guide them and to give them examples and wise words. Even my brother in his teenage had one (his private teacher, which is my senpai), and now he's growing like his role model, smart, diligent, good guy, goes to church every week (the opposite of me).
I really want to know what's feel to admire a certain person so much you want to be like them?
