This series seems to have been on hiatus for at least 1 to 2 years. Does anyone know why?

I have no idea, but I googled a bit and I found information that it is going to be serialized again. You may know about it, but I thought I'd share it in case you didn't. Here's the link.

Thanks for the link! It's been quite some time since I read any info regarding Hakkenden so I was really out of touch. I'm glad it's going to resume serialisation and not going to be like... restarted.

That's my blog and there's been updated information on Hakkenden. From what I understand, this past issue contained the old chapters 1-3 and the next issue will contain 4-6. After that, the chapters will be newly serialized material. I'm just excited we get to see more!
