Hi.

Right now, I'm looking for a good delinquent manga (yankee) with a resolved romance between the strong male and female leads. Preferably a completely scanlated series, or at least scanlated far enough for the romance to be resolved.

I've noticed that a lot of delinquent-type mangas have some hints of romance, but no real resolution, and the high-rated ones (crows, high school, QP) don't seem to have female characters in the radar at all.

Yankee-kun to Megane-chan is ok, but it's a bit gag-ish for my tastes, sometimes (there's no real driving plot, so sometimes I feel like I'm reading sket dance about delinquents. Plus, the girl's stupidity kinda annoys me. I stopped reading since chapter 90. has it gotten better?)

My favorites so far have been GTO, Hareluya II Boy, Psychometrer Eiji, Kyou Kara ore Wa! I'm downloading Blazing Transfer Student right now. As you can see, most of these do have hints of romance, but they're not really resolved that much.

It seems that the best fit for me would be Ocha Nigosu (but it's a not yet complete -- i'm waiting for it to be finished scanlating
Spoiler (highlight to view)
I've taken a look at the raws of the last volume, there does seem to be SOME romantic resolution
)

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Angel Densetsu will do perfectly if you can overlook the rather unique artwork.

This is the 90% complete list of what I've read so far...

Or you could just make your lists public...

I've actually tried doing that. It's there like a shortcut to it? It'd kinda take a really long time to manually add each one, right?

EDIT: Just finished doing it. Thanks for the advice.

If you have all those series in your reading/complete list then you should be able to just select the option of making them public. Go to "My lists", scroll to the bottom and there's options there.

Edit that post to get rid of that makeshift list?

If you like comedy you should give Midori no Hibi a try.

Hmm... I haven't read Midori no hibi yet... but I've watched the anime. Is it any good? Although I liked the main character in the anime, I kinda got P.O.ed at the female lead. She was too sickeningly sweet.

In fact, I preferred the tsundere Class Rep

Is the female lead more tolerable in the manga?

Either way, thanks!

i dont know about the delinquent manga thing, im just saying that Yankee-kun to Megane-chan HAS gotten better, when it comes to the romance part
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Shinigawa now admits he is in love with her and is sorta trying to win her heart, but you still might not like it because adachi's stupidness makes it impossible for to realize it. but anyways you might want to continue it just to see if you'll like it.

@Katylar

If you didn't like Midori in the anime, then I'm pretty sure you wouldn't like her in the manga. Lol.

Tokyo Crazy Paradise and Skip Beat... hmm... I've read both, but didn't really enjoy them too much. Both felt like they're to dragged out.

TCP was a bit too long for my tastes, and except for Ouran, I really don't like Genderbenders. SB feels too love-triangle-ish and dragged out as well. Good suggestions, though! biggrin

Maybe you should try some Korean manhua; Hwang Mi Ri and Han Yu Rang have written lots of manhua centering around female delinquents/fighters.
