You won't get any repeat readers if you end your manga the way this one was ended. One word comes to mind without giving out any spoilers, horrible!

Although this is an old topic...
But I've just finished the manga, and I must say I loved it.... until I read the very end...
I really didn't like the ending at all... : (
Anyone feel the same?

Yeah ,it was a great series, i dont think anyone enjoyed the ending. i thought The author could've done a much better job, something like Shinagawa finding where Hana is, and gathering an army of deliquents that he met through the series.
200+ deliquents outside her house challenging her mafia parents or something like that. Then end the series with the graduation speech, and going off to uni. That way it would have left room for a sequel if the author got the chance.

Yeah, that sounds pretty good. I dont like it when authors use time skips as a means to end a series. Most of the time, readers don't take a liking to it.

I don't mind the time skip that much, I just wished the ending was different. The author could have used 1-2 pages to allude to so much more and hint at things that could tie up some loose threads.
The main sub-plot of the entire manga series was never addressed to any conclusion - AT ALL. One panel, hell one line could have at least moved that forward, but we got nothing.
It's almost setup like a sequel could happen, but we all know that's not happening. Otherwise a great series; the ending just left a bad taste in my mouth. (Like Ichigo 100%)

I think its obvious that the series got axed. All the buildup For Hana's background and her relationship with Daichi was left unsettled.
But i actually blame the author for this, With more than 20 volumes and still not giving much information about hana's family, i think its obvious that he was trying to get as much as he can get from the series. The same can be said about Daichi X Hana relationship, but then again romance isn't the main focus of the manga.
i think Hana's background should have been discussed much earlier.Still it was a great series, which changed into a good series with a lame ending.

Can't wait for the new series! Although a little bit sad, I am happy too.

If you're reading Yamada and the 7 Witches, then your too late. Besides, there is a chance he was told to end the series by a certain issue. Rushed endings usually end up like this.
