buy Japanese language manga? I live in Australia so we don't get many mangas released here. And I want the Japanese versions as they're unedited, and I can use them to help me learn Japanese.
Please give me a link to a website that sells manga.

Hrrm not sure but in the US there's a couple store's that are an off shoot from a Japanese chain called Kinokuniya. It's possible they might have a branch store some where in Aussie land.

We don't have ANY stores that sell manga specifically... it's all sold through the local "news agency" (or w/e it's called) and somethimes through book stores.
Well Kinokuniya is a Japanese bookstore, just not sure if there are any in Australia.

well, i was more thinking of buying the mangas from the same places that scanlators do... unless they hae friends in japan that buy and scan them...
I'm pretty sure most of them get them directly from Japan or have connections there that scan them for them.

Try some of the direct sale outlet for comic eg daily planet Brisbane QLD (hint Google it) or places like http://www.animeanytime.com.au then ask them. Very easy people to talk to.
On the other hand go find the china town area in your capital city there are shop that even sell manga there, just look hard.
OH AnD by the way saying Australia is, errr good but add state when asking directions to something my local is hinted in the first line.

Bu around here we dont have any sorta comic stores or anything like that, so I was hoping to find it all online. I'm not even sure if we have a china town anywhere near here.

Hmmm....You know...Border has quite a bit of Manga where people read for free. coughcheaposcough
Which part of Australia are you in though?
In Melbourne there are a few stores where you can get manga from. If you are indeed in Melbourne, there is a store called Minotaur on Elizabeth street. The sign is purple and it's pretty well lit. You can't miss it
Edit: hmm...my bad, you're from NSW....
Well, you could always fly over

They cost about $18 per volume. How much can you get by getting it shipped from Japan?
