Like the title says. Weather it be family or friend how do you say hello?

For me if its my friends its: Yo, Sup, Hows it going and so on.
For family is usually hi, hello for older family but when it comes to the younger ones it the same as how i speak to friends. laugh

Um... It doesn't matter who it is, what matters is when the last time we properly spoke was..

If it wasn't too long ago and I still feel comfortable with them it can be anything from "Hello" to "Hey" to "Hi" and the like.. Just a general greeting, sometimes followed by their name although not always.

If it has been a long time since I've talked to them or it's someone I've never talked to before then it could be anything but it will definitely be awkward and strange.. I might awkwardly and shyly say hello or just murmur it under my breath, or I might act really strange and talk really oddly on and on and wish I could shut up.. Although if that were to happen there'd be no actual words, just sounds and parts of words..

This type of question is a bit tedious for me to answer,
because I have to think about it in three languages...

It depends a lot on mood and familiarity levels.
I don't feel like elaborating further...

I kinda feel like I've been in this situation already...
A different thread? Dunno... Such a hot day...

Could this be the thread your thinking of smile

It really all depends on the person and the mood for me. Although i tend to use slang for everyone unless it is business

depends on the person
i have lots of russian friends so its "previet"
others "hey" or "hello"

goodbye is either "byebye"
or
"au revoir"(im not french though haha) ever since we took the count of monte cristo in sixth grade. there was this line "au revoir mercedes, I swore to avenge myself"(or something..) then the teacher broke down in tears(it was hysterical lol) we started repeating the line to tease her but then i just got used to it haha

To a friend, IRL;
"A'right?"
"S'craic?"
"Howsagoin?"
"Howyadoin?"

On the phone it's usually;
"Hey, wassup?"

I usually skip the hello's and whatnot.

To my friends, whenever I see them I would probably start with screaming their name and waving my hands, probably followed by a hug ^^

Eh...to my family....I just start talking. No need to be formal with them laugh
Especially not my sister bigrazz
