Thank you for your profanity-enhanced and passionate argument against a point I did not make.

This isn't a question of people going in there or not - this is a question of 18+ topics being sent automatically to the main Baka-Updates Manga page. Visitors to the main page have no choice - they see whatever the most recent topics are - be they about blowjobs, incest, rape, etc.

The entire purpose of having an 18+ forum is to provide a cordoned-off area for those topics. If these topics are then thrust into the heart of the general site via the Recent Topics section of the main page, then that purpose is defeated.



I did not say I visited M-U while I was working, I said I visited it while at work. I can use my workstation to do what I please during my break and lunch time. Visiting M-U is perfectly ok during this time, visiting pages with direct links to blowjob videos - whether I did so voluntarily or involuntarily - is not. Thank you for your rush to judgement.

This is a manga site with a small corner that allows 18+ discussions. This is not a place for 18+ discussions that allows a small corner for manga. No one wants the 18+ forum to be restricted, removed, or otherwise changed at all. I just want the thread topics off the main page, because the main page is not 18+ now is it? This comment of yours is therefore meaningless.



Adding sweeping and baseless generalizations to your post strips away any credibility you otherwise might have had.

Personally, I don't feel that 18+ thread titles should be restricted to begin with. If it's an 18+ forum it will logically have 18+ topic titles. To do otherwise would be rather silly. That's like saying you cannot talk about cars in the thread titles of a car forum.

And if you have 18+ thread titles, you need to keep them solely in the 18+ forum, which means OFF the front page.

I view the 18+ section as adults talking maturely and refined about topics that may be damaging to children..

You make it seem as if the 18+ section is meant for porn.. This is a manga/anime forum, and to have here a porn section is absolutely ridiculous and absurd..

And 18+ topics isn't restricted to sex only, it includes racism and other various issues..

The only reason why this topic even began is because of that underwater blowjob.. Yes or no..? You had no problems with 18+ threads before.. It may have bothered you a little, but not as much as actually making a topic about it until that thread was made by a immature person..

And personally I'm much too lazy to especially go check out the 18+ forum to check if there are new posts.. That would be a shame, since there are in fact some intelligent and civilized posts there..

I'm not talking about offensive topics - I'm talking about anything 18+ being restricted to the 18+ forum. Auto-updating the main page with 18+ topic threads breaks that restriction.

I don't understand how to make that more clear to you.

I gave you a list of topics from that forum that would be inappropriate on the front page. It doesn't matter if there are topics in there that would be ok, the presence of inappropriate topics alone justifies removing Adult 18+ from the Recent Updates list.

Solution: Change the inappriorate thread titles into something ok.. And if you find the topic itself inappropriate, report it then.. I'm sure that if a lot of people reported the topic for being appriorate, it would be gone in a second..

reason: if you have that there then it's almost like this is an adult forum which it's not. it's the main DEFAULT page. so if someone new to baka updates comes here and say the adult forum is active that day the first thing they will see is the names of those adult threads. It could leave a bad impression on them. Not everyone is on the internet to associate with those things. There needs to be some place we can go that is still free from adult material. sure you can have the forum but don't display it on the main page. ._.''

Well I think it's not only an issue about wanting or not wanting to see 18+ topics, but is also an issue about protecting minors... although if they really wanted to see those kinds of stuff, then it's their choice, but they shouldn't be exposed to them without their consent, even if it's on the off-chance that it happens.

Personally, I'd rather see a sharp decrease in these sort of ridiculous types of posts. Honestly I'm sure there are better forums to talk about you're incestuous desires. >_>

But as I'm sure that won't happen, I think this suggestion is probably the next best bet. Sounds good to me. (either way i think the easiest way to solve this would just be for the people who keep starting threads on this sort of thing to politely cease and desist. )

Edit: I like some of the threads placed in the 18+ section, such as "-What is your greatest wish or goal of any kind" and other such threads.Its not just because its 18+ that i think it should be blocked, but that the majority of 18+ threads are just downright inappropriate.
