The last chapter 16 really surprised me. Matsukawa Saki, as straight-to-the-point as she is, was surprisingly brave and smart enough to confess out her feelings about Harisugawa. I read this manga at first only for the purpose of playing around, but the recent development was kind of interesting. Now I'm seeking to it; I really hope it is Matsukawa who's going to end up with Harisugawa. She's just too damn cute. laugh I think she will, though, regardless of what Saotome feels about Harisugawa, because I think she'd need some surprise to shake her feelings and by finding the fact that Matsukawa was in love with Harisugawa (or probably after they've become a couple), that itself would let her realize her true feelings toward the boy. I just hope things wouldn't be a mess like in Ichigo 100%. roll eyes

Judging from what happened in his previous work, I very much doubt that it will end like Ichigo 100%.

Well probably not the same kind of mess, but it tends to be that way. Matsukawa, like Nishino Tsukasa, is honest and more outspoken than Saotome, which in this case is much like Toujou Aya. The guy probably isn't a lame character, but we don't know if he's really faithful or not after the confession. The story needs it that way, though. smile wink grin

Hahaha. Well, I don't think you have to worry about this ending up like Ichigo 100%. What I'm more surprised with is that Saki said if Mao doesn't accept him when he confess, then she will chase after him. Usually, the best friend either keep her love a secret and help her friend, or openly chase after the guy at the same time.

Somehow I feel that the author is throwing a few curveballs as compared to his previous works to avoid cliches. Fortunately, it kinda works for me so far. However, I think he's running through ideas at a very quick pace. I'm kinda afraid that this series might not last more than a year before it reaches its conclusion.

Also, I seriously doubt that Saki will be able to become a couple with Harisugawa. The mirror curse can only be broken if both of them love each other truthfully. If Harisugawa falls for Saki and gets out, then what happens to the series? Kagami no Kuni no Satomi Mao?

Sorry I just got back and all. That's what I thought, too. The confession really surprised me back then! But from the last chapters, things are pretty much going like I thought before. And Mao going to America? Either the series is going down pretty soon or the author thinks the same way I did. Hehe laugh

But really, what the hell is with the mirror? It seems that if mutual feelings are confirmed, the mirror has a power to reset everything. Considering the rule, isn't that cheating?
