>< I'm not that much of a newbie. I chose not to post on the forums, but I've been around this site almost as much as you. 1 year less. Or something like that. I know how storyline for mangas go.

In this case, This topic is about the latest chapter. As the latest chapter has yet to be release, that means I can express my feelings on this topic as can everyone else. If this were a discussion on the manga in general, I would predict that this isn't temporary. Why would the author do that? Maybe she begins to like him later on. Who knows.

If i were to guess, I'd say it's just another trail. One where he needs to make her fall in love with her, or one that removes the obstacles for a chance to convey his love to the other partner. That or the mirror is a curse which bans them from loving for all eternity. At this point anything can be happen.

Maybe the mirror is nice and removes the memories to facilitate the conquest of the remaining love interests and in the end when all conditions are met it restores all the love memories (although it would be traumatizing until then, and maybe awkward afterwards).
But it's too early to predict anything. I hope the author can surprise us.

Judging from what I've read (note: experience) from Kano-sensei's work, I highly doubt that he's gonna eliminate the harem potential or the love triangle factor - which is why I believe that it's going to be temporary.

maybe it was intentional like after completing the conquest of the mirror, they're given a chance to do it in the normal way without the mirror.

I actually love this manga, I have read many harems, and this one is pretty good ( I'm not saying it's the best). I agree what most people say about it being temporary because I really don't know how long they can keep this plot up got for ( Then again I can be wrong). Wow, it's such a catch 22 in the latest chapters! I'm actually looking forward to see how this plays out. I'm in love with Saki, and I wish he ends up with him because she handle everything maturely.

Maybe since whenever he pulled out something good he got axed (i.e. Mx0) now Kano is trying to see if he can last with a crappy plot device like that one.

First off I did say temporary. 50/50 chance. More like 70/30 on temp, but right now, it's the latest topic. I expressed my feeling on the latest topic. If it had been a topic on predictions, I would agree with you. But I'm really getting tired of such pointless bickering, you may come back, but I will chose not to. Now how did it go. Why would he go back home? Does the main character not think? Also I'm getting quite suspicious on the time limit he has on the real world.

Also on the fact of the love mirror. My true opinion on it is that i think the love mirror has a gauge. It absorbs a dept of love to a large scale. If the love is deep enough between the two, not everything will be absorbed and they will still love each other. Since the two of them had their feeling for a short time, the gauge couldn't successfully be reached. It will either return it (temp like we were fighting about), get depleted, or just store it.

Any thoughts on my theory?

well, i would like to know how the old guy in the mirror know the details about the mirror.. and explain it in full detail to his child while on his last breath

in the end, the mirror is something that prolong his life from dying in accidents. not to mention if the curse didn't break and someone else take his place, he will go back in time and die in the accident, as if nothing ever happened. isn't there a chance that if the curse break he will just go back to the time of accidents but survived, and the mirror is really just a test for him to see if his love is strong enough to grant him a second chance in life
in that case, it's a normal thing that saki forget her love because ... well, it's just a test and everyone will forget it in the end except harisugawa. he conquered her so the route is finished.

if that isn't the case, then, there's a price to pay for his second chance in life and the price is love. he has to get lots of love to break the mirror and come out alive, eg: searching for more girls to confessed to and he can't get any rejection or he will be trapped there

either way, it doesn't matter what it is. just wait for the next chapter. the forums is just a place to waste time before the new chapter comes out. as in my experience, none of my predictions ever come true

I'm with you Scyfon, I really hope its temporary, since I liked Saki.
