I have yet to watch the trailer, but I absolutely LOVED the book... which I read exactly 10 years ago. OMG... 10 years ago... I feel old...

I must be the only one killing this festive mood...
but the book was in truth, very boring. At least for me =.=. I just saw it as another cliche after another...perhaps if the movie is better I'd see it. Otherwise...

cant say i remember it too well
[i did see the animated bilbo film earlier this year...but it was kind of dissapoiting]
that can explain why i dont remember
any elf woman that is interested in gandalf
and i dont remember the dwarfs actually do anything but put themselfes in danger and being greedy
[very greedy and lookkind of...like... YEWS...well tolkien was a product of his time]
so why are they using weapons
or did they use weapons...i cant remember
and there was a dwarf in that trailer who looked just like Odo from ds9

and its not very fun to watch 13 fat dwarfs sing

I've been keeping track of this for the past few months and it looks awesome!
The Hobbit is such a good book (like all of Tolkien) so I'm looking forward to this
I'm not sure if the Galadriel/Gandalf scene is just her doing her beautiful/mysterious/elf-y thing, or if it is some weird relationship thrown into this hahaha
Either way, I'll have to watch this when it comes out
