Its been gnawing at me but, that chapter with the Nintendo DS... How old was Tenma back then, lol, was the DS released? I guess when you think about it in a few years or so reading back, it'd make sense, but wouldn't it have been better if it was like a normal gameboy? xD

i once had a portable game (the cheap ones which don't need cartridges) that shaped like a DS. so its not necessarily a DS she's holding. plus, this is school rumble we're talking about. nothing is supposed to make sense.

1. It looks exactly like a NDS.
2. The animal game is most likely a reference to Nintendogs or Animal Crossing.
3. This is a manga.

Those 80's Nintendo DS look-a-likes were....

TADA!

Nintendo Game&Watch electronic handheld games.. like this one here

http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~pinwhiz/grnhouse.jpg

There were many different models, some simpler 1 screen games, and some dualscreen ones...

I used to have a 4-5 of those back when i was a kid.. dunno what happened to those.. probably still around at my parents place... confused
