Poor Tsubaki-kun.
She really doesn't hold back, does she? Unlike a typical romantically dense female protagonist, each and every chapter seems to dig the male partner into a deeper pit. In chapter 9, Kanoko finally came to the conclusion that Tsubaki has never had any female friends because every single girl he interacts with falls for him. Then she looks thoughtful and sad for Tsubaki. She already (probably) has made the resolution to try to get Tsubaki some friends on his own level (Hijiri being the first candidate), and now this?

Kanoko, why don't you cut him a little slack?

I seriously feel sorry for Tsubaki-kun. He's so in love with her and she's so darn dense. It's cute though, but now I want them to get somewhere. PLEASE.
