So I'm not certain if this is a doujinshi or manga series... :/ I looked it up here and there's not much info. I guess the following is small but devoted? smile http://www.geocities.com/max3075/rakkyo/ says it's a 900-page novel. Oh well, hopefully someone knowledge can add info on it to the database. smile

Kara no Kyokai is a franchise that began as a web novel in 1998 and continued as a doujinshi, drama CD, and light novel.

On side note: when one says "doujinshi" it doesn't mean necessary an adaption of a series into something else. Doujinshi is more than that. Doujinshi is primary a specific formating of panels and in most cases self-publication, hence there are many "original" doujinshi. ABE Yoshitoshi for instance wrote plenty of that type.
