I have my license, but I didn't get it right when I was 16 like everyone else.
I'm a good driver--the kind that most instructors would want on the road. I drive the speed limit (rarely do I go over, and if I do, it's not much), I signal every time, I lane change correctly. I'm the only one in my family that doesn't have a speeding ticket. And I have to say, I have really good reaction time (which is REALLY surprising to me).

In truth, I just have no balls.

I have my own car, but it's a cheapie that I helped my mom pay for--I need it mostly to take my brothers+sister to school. Otherwise I just ride my bike.

I can't. Even though I'm already 18 my parents don't want to teach me as they don't want to lend me their car. cry

Currently 20, birthday coming up in a few months, and I own a car and commute to my university. So I've been practically driving everyday for ~3 years now. Don't mind it too much, just rush hours are annoying.

Got my license and everything on time as a sophomore in high school and passed the DMV driving exam on the first attempt.

No tickets and no accidents, I'm a good driver. biggrin

I've only drove a car twice. First time my sis in the back seat screammed out "watch out for that dog!" and i slammed the brake on. That supposed dog was a statue behind a fence in someone's yard!!!
Second time I was trying to turn the car down a narrow shoveled path through huge piles of snow some idiot (my eight months younger than me uncle) packed into huge walls. I almost flipped the car and I was moving less than 5 mph!

I have had my license for nearly two years, I got it a few days after I turned 16. Where I live, it is impossible to get around without a car, so I had been driving illegally for a year or two before that due to family constraints. But hey, I had to be good if I never got caught! I have never been pulled over (knock on wood). I do a lot of driving, too. A few days after I got my license, I drove 19 hours to where my sister goes to college. Now, I make a 10 hour commute every few months. Yay cruise control!

I've got my driving licence soon after my 18th birthday (age that you can get it here). So it has been over 3 years right now.

I have my own car (each of my family who can drive has one now) which i use to drive to city where i study in university right now.

As for stupid things:

- once in the night i didn't see a parked car when i wanted to drive out of the parking site and kinda bumped into it. Nothing happened, not even a little scar.

- few times forgot about the handbrake, good i remembered then right away.

- cut off somebody 2 times, because people are so stupid they won't even use light to signalise it -.-

- speeding counts? i do it many times. Also i remember when only few months into having the driving licence i had a kinda racing contest with my aunt. I in one car with my father and another man, my aunt with my mother and brother. On a 4 lane way we raced. Speed limit was 110km/h. We drove like 170-180. Each time someone else was leading. One time she was overtaking me she showed me her middle finger and laughed. I did too and drove after her. It was kinda amusing.

I'm so happy that my lights turn on when i start my car or i would have had forgotten about them so many times.

And my most mistakes happened some time ago.

But I love driving fast with my music blasting out on a sunny day xD
