Whoops my bad, I had read about Jump Sq switching to bimonthly and assumed it was true. However, upon checking the R+V II raw, it's Jump SQ.19 (the one that used to be quarterly) so I guess there's nothing to worry about regarding that and this ending is just.... puzzling....

That is not official. That is speculation based on limited information.
Basing completion on a preview of the next magazine's ToC does not a series end.
More information is needed.
Now, if the series is completed, the publisher is probably keeping this on the down low... which is a dickish move.
We'll just see when we see. (Tautology)

Whether it ends here or continues on as a different name, we'll find out when we find out.
I love the angry entitled leecher community we have, people don't even pay and support the mangakas and yet demand changes to how they do things without knowing squat about the situations (health, laws, effort, etc).
"Claymore" as it is, is more or less complete. The loose ends are just that, loose ends. There are more than enough materials to continue the story with a different purpose and name but the loose ends no longer fit the current title.
We'll find out soon enough what's really going on, either way, at least this part ended well enough, plenty series have done worse so I'm at least optimistic about there being a continuation of some sort for the story.

I think the problem lies wherein the main loose ends that I notice are that the end came about so abruptly and, according to a link on the thread earlier, the author didn't have any last comments, leaving questions as to whether it is truly the end of the Claymore Universe.
I have to agree quite thoroughly with the post though. Hopefully it's just the end of the "Claymore Organisation" as I feel it's been too long without Clare, and Priscilla's too much of a monster not to have her defeated in a massive battle in my opinion.

If it really ended, I rather liked the ending. Youma got explained along with it's origin and the organization collapsed. The fight against the 'dragons' looks like just a hoax, as there was no proof that such a war ever occurred. The only reason holding me back from thinking that this series ended is that I expect an epilogue or some after words from the mangaka, just like he did with Angel Densetsu.

Probably the manga's rating in Japan fell so low that the editors told Yagi to end it, like you know — you have three more chapters and that's it, just wrap it up.

That couldn't be, Claymore sold way to much to be ended if it dropped in the ranks (and it didn't i saw the tables several times and it was always in a really high position if not first), as an example HunterxHunter had been getting to the last five in the top in each chapter since the whole hiatus thing started, yet it won't go down till is finished and they even let Yoshiro-sensei take as much, well deserved, breaks as he need. And that is because of the sales of the volumes...
For Claymore to had been Axed is not even an option.

I hope it's only a break or at worst a strike/boycott against the publisher because of that new law. If it had to do with the proposed law, mangaka should have their own version of the Writers Strike (can't believe it's been that long), but I don't know if they have unions over there.

It is now a fact that JQ is going Bimonthly (it is stated on the last chapter of Rosario + Vampire II), so let's hope that Yagi decide to change for a Monthly magazine...
Two month is to much to wait for a chapter with out going crazy ()
But it would be nice if it actually start in another, not bimonthly mag. Anyway, whatever Yagi see fits, is what's better.

Isn't that just referring to Jump SQ.19 now going bimonthly instead of the February, May, August and November release dates?

well, i'm not the kind of guy who thinks too much before posting (thanks god for the edit voton) but i think the magazine is just going to be published ones every two moths, meaning only 6 chapters a year...
i don't even know if you were talking to me really, and i hardly get what you were trying to say.
Since when R+V changed magazine a few years ago it changed its name i tough it was going to be the same with claymore now and that's the reason for the "END" thing.
