The Tournament is starting soon, so who would you like to see win.
Did your country make it?
If you don't live in Europe who do you expect or are supporting to win?
Who is going to be the runner up?

Get you thoughts down before the tournament starts so we may know how good you guys are at Predicting.
WHO WILL WIN? cast your vote for your supporting team

My thoughts

1.not sure yet -
2.Netherlands - They are very good at getting to the finals and Choking.
3.Germany - I just don't see them getting further than this.
4.Spain - They are going to play well but I feel that teams are going to be on the lookout for them and there's bound to be an anti-Spain strategy prepared.

I'm Italian and we only make something good when the situation couldn't seem worse. And yeah, this is one of those moment. But honestly speaking our national team is the weakest I've ever seen in all my life, if they make it to semi-finals it's gonna be a half miracle. Even if in a competition played in such a short time everything can happen.

If I've to predict a winner, I'm gonna choose the winner of group B (Germany, Holland, Denmark, Portugal). So I say Germany.
If Germany wins the group with Holland second, they have a fairly easy path (beside big surprises). While the most favorite team on theory (Spain) could play against France/England at quarter, Holland at semi and Germany on final. They're all hard matches.
1- Germany
2- Spain
3- Holland
4- Ukraine (I've to put in a surprise or it'd be boring! biggrin)

hard to guess from the leagues so far but i agree with reid on the top 3 . it's standard.

for the underdog, i would vote for england. excellent league to the end, win the champions league and then win the euro. couldn't get any better

It's a tough one this year. There is no team that's standing out to me.

Greece winning would be fun though. The celebrations last time they won were fantastic laugh

like others said .. it will be tough this year
i voted .. holland
but i go either germany or netherlands in the final

spain .. i dont know , their team is not at their best form , lets say , their main players are injured .. puyol , and of course david villa .. and it seems cause of the local league . the situation in the spain national team is pretty intense (you know since their main players mostly come from real madrid and barcelona , tough rivalry)

and portugal? pftt lol since when ronaldina and friends are that good

both netherlands and germany have great materials .. germany get ozil and mueller who will pass the ball to mario gomez , and netherlands are full of stars .. huntelaar , robben (i hope hes not depressed about his penalty failure) robin van persie , affelay , sneijder , and many more

and as for england , alot of people predicted that they would do good in the world cup , but they did not , and i think they wont be any different in this euro 2012 ... they are not prepared , short term coach with short term plan

well its football , you cant predict it ... wink

I voted for the Netherlands, for nationalistic reasons of course. Even if we don't win (I mean, the last time we actually won was in 1988), we can't lose to Germany or I'll never hear the end of it when I go on holiday.

The whole country is already getting all "crazy for orange" and the tournament hasn't even started yet. I wonder what would happen if we actually won this year.
In any case, it'll at least have brought forth a funny commercial; even if it is for McDonald's.

Don't do that no cheer for Poland
if not who will shout "nic się nie stało" ("nothing happend") We need you eyes

And where is the meaning in cheering in some team only when the team have chance? confused

It doesn't matter that they won't win bigrazz

no one thinks England is going to win or want them to win. they have zero. with that I'm guess Football is not coming home. it will be held hostage by Germany or Portugal by the looks of it.

I was rooting for Germany in '08 so I hope they get the job done this time round. My other pick would be the Dutch squad.

Right now Germany and Netherlands seem to be definite favourites with Spain slightly behind. I'll go with Germany to win it all, because I have confidence in Neuer's ability to steal a game if Germany is playing sub-par on a given day, I don't feel the same about Stecklenburg's ability to do similar in the Dutch goal.

I think Stekelenburg and Neuer are on the same level, and that is why I bet on Netherlands.

Anyway, forza azurra!
