Spoiler (highlight to view)
Her Dad detaining her was already something expected and growing with someone like that with authority in your own abode would get one use to it and stress might not be much at that point. She is a strong young woman so, stress at home wouldn't be much as well with her Mom and Older Sis favoring on Yamato, even in the subconscious that she and Yamato ain't together. Yamato's been coming to her house to ask forgiveness to her Dad anyway which eventually was settled in their favor.

Seo already established that she's no longer emotionally troubled when she finally went with Yamato, leaving her past as memories and trusting Yamato that he won't hate her no matter what remarks or criticisms she gives out to him which she feared might cause them to split up.

The new stress and pressure would be the realization of bearing a child and what her/their career would become.

A debate... hmmm interesting eyes A miscarriage isn't Pro-life even if you call it an accident. Would it be Pro-Choice, does that involve prioritizing one's career confused Can we consider it a good choice for the two to don't have the child so they could go ahead with their somewhat set career or would it be better if the two just have their child and then pursue their careers if possible? You guys can think of othe scenarios, of course eyes

Of course, I for one am Pro-Life since life preservation is such a thing we all recognize. Other choices would change and would follow eventually that may involve their careers. eyes it seems Yamato's for it too eyes

These are purely my opinons on whats going to happen. I dont see a twist happening with the baby, but then again I could be wrong something could happen but more than likey i think that the story is going to hold strong on the course its going. Shes going to have it, and even though it might not be Yamato's he'll still be there for her and the baby no matter what. So even though its not so much of a happy ending they know they love each other biggrin so im happy, but as for everything in life we'll just have to wait and see.

To all posters:

Please stop giving comments stating that the child isn't Yamato's!

It's already been cleared that it's 100% his. Ok ? You're hurting me. sad no

hahahh... oh my. I laughed out loud when I saw this. ^___^

Yes yes. It better have been proven 100%. Arima totally didn't know about it. Unless... there was some twist where he's still the father and that's why he's so adamant about her getting an abortion. <_<;;

I mean! Bwhahahah. Just kidding just kidding. I'm about 99% positive it isn't Arima now. He would've reacted with an "oh shit..." when Yamato told him if it was his. XD

Maybe Arima was relieved to hear that Yamato thinks he is the father, but still wants Yamato to push for abortion so as to be sure he will never be implicated.

I think Arima is afraid of Yamato deciding to quit track and field because he needs to support his newly formed family. Hence the harsh words.

I don't want to speculate any further but this cliffhanger is bugging me smile

Imho, if Arima would be the father, Suzuka would show different reaction when Yamato spilled that he spoke with Arima about her pregnancy.

Man i cant even believe people are thinking about arima might be the father. One he wouldnt have been the only man she could have had sex with. Two i dont think he even cares about anything other then track and field including sex.

I just started following these forums recently, and I was so baffled by all the posts speculating about Arima (or anybody else but Yamato) being the baby's father that I reread the entire series from the beginning trying to figure out what I'd missed the first time through. cry

And I'm still baffled! confused

Even though I was looking, I couldn't find a single hint that there was anything going on between Suzuka and Arima or any other guys besides Yamato.

The first time Arima shows up in the story, he and his friends gang up to bully Suzuka, bad mouth her dead friend Kazuki, and try to humiliate her. And elsewhere in the series he's shown as an arrogant jackass who enjoys treating people like dirt.

I know that some girls will go for a guy like that, but there's no way I can see somebody like Suzuka even wanting to be friends with him, let alone get romatic with him. roll eyes

And I really can't see Suzuka betraying Yamato like that.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

As far as the possibilty of Arima having forced her, I didn't see anything at all to hint at anything like that happening, and I can't imagine that she'd have been able to conceal something that traumatic from Yamato or her friends and family.

Well its our own opinion on how we see the manga but it is the Mangakas' to finish their jobs we're the ones reading it so hopefully they will understand us and give us the better conclusion. biggrin

Everybody's entitled to their opinions; didn't mean to sound argumentative! smile

It's just that coming to this forum and seeing all the posts about Suzuka and Arima (or maybe another guy) was a total surprise. I wound up wondering if I'd missed a whole bunch of the chapters, since I didn't remember anything like that.

Anyway, I enjoyed rereading it all, and look forward to seeing what happens next. smile
