Alright people. I need your help.
Back in the early 80s there were a few manga about cooking and food.
One involved a ramen chef who entered a competition and wowed the crowd by making a bowl of noodle that contained 1 single continuous strand of noodle.
Another was a curry chef who went on to become a restaurant mogul and subsequently bought a fleet of trucks so he can transport his own produce.
One more is a sushi chef who's movement in making sushi was portrayed as "kung fu" like art.
The chefs in question was NOT a kid. He was actually a pretty big dude.
That's all my memory serves.
ANY ANY tips or hints would be extremely helpful.

Chuuka Ichiban!..? I think there was a scene about a single strand of noodle. More famous in china though, the anime.

Is it Cooking Papa you mean? He's a pretty big guy and he cooks various food in each chapter.
