Oddly, Ni no Kuni. Ghibli + Level-5 = 8D
It looks a little childish but I guess that's the spirit of it, however I'm not too keen about the battle mode.
I haven't really played or heard of upcoming games lately.

Dead State: The Zombie Survival RPG
If the company keeps to their current vision, it should be pretty good. But that could be a very big if. Unfortunately, with zombies things often become less "survival" and more "kill streak" as soon as some executive glances at it.
(But since it's being developed by an indie group, it should be okay until it comes time to publish)
