One of the first shojo manga I ever read was a student-teacher romance where at the end of the story the teacher is either proven not guilty or has went and came out of jail. The couple then continues going out and ignores society; so no one bugs them.
For approximately 2 years now I've been wanting to read it again but I just can't find it. Can anyone help me out? Thanks. I appreciate it a lot.

I think we need a little more details about the length of the manga and maybe about how much the story revolves around said legal issues when compared to them going out in society.
These two mangas may be the one you're looking for, but none of them mention anything regarding jail.
Ichigo no Gakkou
Suki, Dakara Suki
